Private king room in modern townhouse in Murrumba Downs. Room features comfy king bed, full length mirrors, fan and some wardrobe space. House is double story and bedroom is on the upper level (as is ours). Guests also have their own private bathroom and toilet (not ensuite).

We're a family of 3. We hosted airbnb for years when we were living in Hervey Bay, life has taken us to Brisbane now and we'd love to share our space again :)

The space
We are in a townhouse complex at the end of a cul-de-sac in a quiet, residential neighbourhood. It's a lovely, friendly, quiet complex. During the day kids can be heard playing in the street but at night it's very quiet. There is guest parking available. Downstairs are the general living areas - kitchen, lounge, dining, laundry. Upstairs are the bedrooms and bathrooms. There is also a small, private patio attached to our house. During your stay you're welcome to use the general downstairs areas of the house. There is also a pool in the complex which you're welcome to use. Currently there is no TV but we can share out Netflix account if you'd like to watch on your own device.

Please be mindful that as children live in the space too there may be the odd dish in the sink or toy out in the general living areas. The bath in the guest room has some minor spots, damage marks that can't be removed NOT uncleaned grime 😆

Murrumba Downs is a quiet, family neighbour hood. Close to the highway for quick and easy access north or south and approx. 10 minutes from Westfield Northlakes. There are several smaller shopping centres will Coles/Woolworths are smaller shops within a couple of minutes drive from the house. Easy access by public transport to the CBD.

We are an easy going family of 3 - mumma and her 2 babes. We love to travel and have lost count of the number of countries we've been too (around 50-ish). We had some great experiences staying in Airbnb places ourselves which inspired us to list our own place.

I (Vicki) - am vegan love yoga, love stand-up paddle boarding, love language - I used to speak German fluently but unfortunately a lack of use means it's not as good as it used to be....but still good enough to be asked on more than 1 occassion for my "Ausweis" on a recent trip to Germany. I also always try and learn as much of the local language as I can before we go away and I find the relationships between different languages fascinating. I run marathons for fun, am learning to knit and will try anything at least once.
