We stayed over new years and it was a perfect mini holiday. The place was easy to find, within walking distance to Meningie, but very quiet being out of town a bit. Donna and Andy were very prompt with all communications which made it very easy to organise. Really great little house with awesome character and everything you would need for a relaxing home away from home.

A special accommodation option in a lovely SA country town at the gateway to the Coorong. We enjoyed out stay completely in this unique, well equipped and super comfy place. Lake views abound and its a leisurely walk into town. Andy and Donna responded to us within the hour for a request to head to their accommodation that same day. Everything was as outlined and both arrival and departure super straight forward. We found everything we needed to make our stay special and left refreshed and looking forward to our next trip back to Meningie.

My partner and I stayed at the Lakeside Chapel over the weekend and absolutely loved it! The owners were so helpful and generous in the lead up to our trip, the house was impeccably clean, warm and welcoming and we had such a great time we didn't want to stayed an extra night! We couldn't fault it in any way and would absolutely recommend staying any time of the year!

Wow! What a charming little hideaway. Beautifully presented and well stocked with everything we needed, great spot, so quiet and really cosy. A relaxing short walk into town, and set far enough off the main road to be nice and quiet. We stayed on a cold night and the heating options did a great job, the kitchen fire was particularly lovely.

Response from Andy & Donna:
You are welcome back anytime. A pleasure to host. Over the years it will grow more delightful and you never know we may even be able to provide fresh eggs even if the chickens don't quite happen.
