Carlotta is a very helpful owner. She did her utmost to make my stay comfortable with prompt communications and a weekly cleaning service. The flat is as described, and furnished with very modern. The kitchen is just as needed, with a much valued dishwasher. There is a supermarket nearby, but you may prefer to go to some with a better range on the Lido or Dorsoduro. The flat itself was in a surprisingly good position. It really does back on to the Giardini, and overlooks the park and water, as well as the entrance to the Biennale. You are a few minutes away from the vaporetto stop, served by two of the key water bus lines. The best feature of this flat is that it is really far away from the tourist crush. There are budget tourist restaurants on nearby via Garibaldi, but turn a few streets away and you can discover some really great, quiet places to eat which offer great value. The main bedroom has a small double (4'6'') and there is a single bed in the spare room/study. The flat is very minimalist, and light.

We had a stress-free check in and Carlotta gave us easy to follow directions to get there. The flat is perfect to explore Venice from, and has an amazing sea view! It's easily walkable to the main sites and so close to the water bus station. The flat is very comfortable for 4, with underfloor heating, a great shower and a well-appointed kitchen. Highly recommended.

Fantastic flat! Very clean, modern and spacious. Excellent location - very close to the Biennale and to a Vaparetto stop. Carlotta was very welcoming and was very flexible with my arrival and departure times. I would highly recommend staying in this flat.

Carlotta is an absolute darling. She met us at the vaporetto stop and showed us to the apartment which was beautiful, light and modern. Way better than the pictures show. Clean and well equipped too with all new appliances. If you are in Venice for the Biennale then it's right on your doorstep and if not you are in the quieter part of Venice away from St Marks and the army of umbrella wielding tourists. We had a fabulous time made all the better by the ability to cook the odd meal with the wonderful fresh market produce and also to be able do a bit of laundry - you can pack so much less! All the shops and cafes you could possibly need are a 5 minute walk away so theres no need to worry on that score although we did manage to clock up just under 130 miles walking around in 12 days and I can confirm there are many supermarkets dotted about. As a top tip the big Billa on Strada Nuovo has everything and some of the co-op's are VERY small. One small point is the apartment is on the top (3rd) floor, so if you have a problem with stairs it (and venice) are maybe not for you. To sum up Id recommend this fabulous apartment to anyone and be very happy to go back there right now!

This is a gorgeous flat in a gorgeous area; it is newly refurbished with taste, quite and with a lovely view over the Giardini. Perfect for families with young kids and of course for art and architecture lovers during Biennale, with Giardini and Arsenale 2 min. walk away. We only spent a couple of days but would definitely use it again. Please note all flat rules and details including cash you need to bring with you at check-in.
