I stayed in Bob's Skaneateles apartment for two nights with my wife and our daughter. We really enjoyed our stay. The apartment is on the second floor of a 3-floor building in the village center, above first-floor businesses on Genessee Street, and a short walk to everything to see and do in the village. The sunroom area and large deck look right out onto the lake; very scenic. The kitchen is well equipped and all appliances were easy to figure out. Well, I had to look on the internet to figure out exactly how the heat mode on the heat pump in the sunroom works. :) We were here carless, as part of a cycling trip, and locked our bikes behind the building, locked against a railing and out of the way of auto parking spaces. This worked out well. There is elevator access to the space via the back side of the building. The elevator is slow, though; we used it for one trip up, with bags, but simply took the stairs thereafter. The only thing I'd caution is that the bedrooms overlook Genessee Street, which, while narrow and village-scale here, is also part of US route 20, the major east-west car and truck route in this part of the Finger Lakes. Traffic & truck noise on Monday morning (Columbus Day, so only a partially-observed holiday) was moderately loud, even early. There are other places to sleep in the in the apartment, though, including a sofa bed in the sunroom; be aware of this if you are a light sleeper.

We loved our stay in this apartment. The apartment is clean a perfectly located. The photos and description do not do it justice. The place is considerably larger than what we expected and the deck and living areas offer generous and stunning lake views. Bob was extremely attentive and rssponsive. The only slight drawback was the street noise in the bedrooms. We actually slept on the foldout on the second night with the lake view and quiet...

Bob was very communicative and we were amazed when we got to the place, the view of the lake and the deck and back room are gorgeous! There is no better way to enjoy Upstate NY than staying here. One note, Bob provided us with a parking spot and I fit my large pickup in it, but it's a tad tricky. No worries for smaller cars.

This lakefront condo in the heart of the village is a great property. It's is every bit as impressive as the photos. Spacious rooms, great view and a perfect location close to everything in Skaneateles. The unit was immaculate and well furnished. We had guests over for drinks on the deck and the place easily accommodated 15 and could have handled more. I had one question on wireless and Bob answered it quickly. Compared with hotel rates in this area - this is a great value. I hope to stay here again.
