Casa Las Eras offers the best of the Andalucian countryside, with its superb olive groves, and yet close by to the wonderful inland lake of Iznajar, with its own beach. Our traditional Spanish cottage, situated in the 'pueblo blanco' of La Celada, retains its Spanish charm but has been renovated to offer modern comforts. It is ideally located to explore some of the major attractions of Andalucia, yet experience a little of 'real Spain', and the wonderful local culture and fiestas!

The space
Casa Las Eras provides a unique opportunity to experience a traditional Spanish village and way of life. Perfect for a little peace and quiet or visiting some great locations whether your interests be culture or just having some fun!

The cottage accommodation is on two floors – The gated entrance leads into the pretty front patio. Downstairs there is a lounge, kitchen opening into the dining room and separate WC. The upper floor has two bedrooms – one double/one twin – with a bathroom consisting of ‘wet room’ with shower, WC and basin. The landing leads to a lovely large, completely private, terrace…or beer garden…perfect for sun worshippers, outside dining or relaxing with a cool beer or glass of wine.

The village of La Celada is a hamlet of Iznajar, – just a few minutes drive to the town, with its fabulous Moorish Castle, lake and beach. Valdearanas Beach on the lake is where you can swim, rent pedaloes and kayaks, and sail. The water is lovely to swim in and the bathing is safe.

Iznajar itself is unspoiled and traditional; a labyrinth of typical whitewashed Andalucían houses dotted around narrow lanes. The castle, perched at the top, dates from the 8th century and the church from the 16th century, which can be visited along with several museums and exhibitions. There are breathtaking views over the lake.
