Our daylight apartment sleeps 4 with its own entrance, easy freeway access, blocks from light rail, and buses. Walk to groceries, Dekum Triangle, coffee shops, bars, and two great parks. It's also just a short bike ride to the Mississippi, Williams, Kenton, and Alberta hot spots.
Our basement apartment is all yours. Your separate entrance by the garage means you can come and go as you please. Keypad entry means no key to lose or check-in/check-out key exchange to schedule.
NOTE: We are remodeling! Big time! When complete, the basement will boast large, open-concept floor plan with a new kitchen, dining area and larger bathroom (see the posted floor plan). The description below reflects the NEW space. We'll have updated pics when we're done in April!
There'll be a queen bed, closet, and full-length mirror. The living room has a TV (basic cable, Roku), queen sleeper futons (which sleeps two each with included bedding), two chairs. The fireplace is just for show, not actual fires.
The kitchen is well appointed! We've got dishes, pots, pans, toaster, and coffee maker (we don't supply food or beverages).
The bathroom has a shower (no tub).
You get access to the entire basement apartment including laundry. Sorry, the yard is typically not part of the space for guest use (but, if you're interested in our patio space during your stay, just ask and we can let you know if it's available). Your separate entrance by the garage means you can come and go as you please. Keypad entry means no key to lose. We'll send the code about 24 hours before check-in.
Interaction with guests
Your own private access means that typically you have little to no interaction with us. But, don't be shy! We live upstairs and are often around to help you with anything you need (and, should anything come up, we're only a text or phone call away).
We love our neighborhood! It's close to plenty of great things, but it is far enough away to be quiet. We've got rose gardens, coffee shops, good brunch locales, neighborhood watering holes, and easy access to public transportation, car shares, and bike rentals.
We are great for public transportation with frequent bus service (#4, 6 & 75) just a few blocks away, light rail is a 15 minute walk (3/4 mile), and the freeway is a 3 minute drive. You can bike using bike lanes or low-traffic streets (Portland call's them bike boulevards).
The airport is just a 15-20 minute taxi or Lyft/Uber ride ($18-28).

We welcome families with kids. We have a Pack n' Play that you're free to use while you're here.
We have a permit to make this unit available in the City of Portland. Our permit number is 15-152757-000-00-HO.
We want you to have a good time, listen to music, laugh and enjoy our place! We are fine with your Portland friends joining you for the day or evening. Thanks in advance for having no more than six folks total between 7a-10pm and no more than the guests in your reservation past then.
We don't allow pets or smoking in the apartment or on the property.
