Thank you so much for this weekend. The birthday girl came away very happy! Hosts really supported our needs. We arrived early and was welcomed by Anne and her family with tea and biscuits. Anne offered tips and advice. We were also given some prosecco to start our…

I wanted to book the Observatory for a large family gathering at the last moment under very sensitive circumstances. Anne was most accommodating and immediately called me to go through the details to ensure we as an entire family would be comfortable. She was most gracious in…

Such a great location for a hen do, great pool too! Lovely meal cooked for us, very friendly and hospitable. Fantastic house, it’s like a rabbit warren and keeps going on forever! We also love animals so having the dog and cats was great too. Very central location so convenient!

Our stay at Anne´s place was amazing. It felt like going back in time, living in an incredible museum! The house is decorated and styled with intricate details and incredible furniture from chandeliers hanging from the ceilings, loads of antiques and books, period music…

What a lovely review – from lovely people! Thank you Louise. Particularly appreciated as the weather wasn't quite as stunning as it sometimes can be. I'm so glad you managed your al fresco lunch.

Though our plans for a longer stay fell through at this time, our team was very impressed with this property and were extremely pleased with the flexibility and helpfulness of our host, Anne.

I have just come back from a weekend at this house, for my sister’s hen do – which I took months organising and worrying about to make it the perfect weekend for her. Thankfully, due to the group of wonderful friends/ family, they made this weekend, a weekend to remember!…

Response from Anne:
The motive behind Chantelle’s review os chillingly clear: she sent me a breathtakingly long list of complaints, almost two weeks before her review went public, demanding “a considerable sum” of money; later specified as over £2,300. This so blatantly contravenes Airbnb’s rules…

This is our home: please note that we live here! We started by listing it just when we were going to be away – in late July and early August, when we often go to the seaside; for school holidays; Christmas, New Year, Easter and so on. However, it has proved so popular (and it can…
