A large bedroom suite with Kingsize bed, bed settee suitable for up to 2 children and en-suite bathroom. Set in the most beautiful 11 acres of rural Devon with views of Exmoor and perfectly located for walking, cycling, stunning beaches and relaxing
The bedroom suite is a large space with stunning views of the land and the countryside beyond. It is located in a separate part of our house, where there is also a double guest room and you have private access to come and go as you please.
There is a large dining room where we serve breakfast and can provide evening meals on request as well as picnic lunches (24 hours notice required in order that we can source fresh local ingredients and produce).
There are external seating areas in the courtyard and patio and you are free to enjoy the gardens, orchard and fields as well as interact with our hens, ducks and sheep. They are all very friendly!
Interaction with guests
We are happy to provide whatever is required to make your stay with us comfortable but also completely respect your privacy.
Other things to note
We have dry storage for bikes and outdoor gear and even a BBQ if the weather is clement. We don't have an alcohol licence but you are welcome to chill your wine and beer in our fridge and there is no corkage charge.
We would just ask our guests to respect that this is our home and to treat it accordingly. We operate a no-smoking policy and no pets unfortunately. As we have farm animals we would ask you to be careful and considerate in closing gates behind you.

A fun loving and optimistic person who loves life, friends, food, entertaining and meeting new people. You are most likely to find me in the kitchen baking a cake or cooking for guests and friends or glued to the TV catching up on Emmerdale and Coronation Street. An avid fan of Masterchef, my claim to fame is that I got down to the last 200, two years ago. Originally from Manchester and having spent 25 years in Berkshire, I am thoroughly enjoying rural life with my husband Richard and have started a veggie patch, the produce from which I hope to be able to cook for you with as well as cooking up the eggs from our chucks.
