Five miles away is the market town of Boroughbridge offering a range of independent shops and cafes.

Such friendly and helpful hosts. The rooms provided were ideal for our family, excellent value for money and we adored the setting and the beautiful house. We would definitely like to stay again in the future. Little touches like a big range of games in the snug and looking at the animals in the garden really made it special as the children loved these things. A great location for us - visiting family in Ripon - and next time we will visit Newby Hall which is very close to Great Ouseburn.

I grew up in Ouseburn and came back to live here four years ago, so I know the area well. My partner is from Addiscombe in Surrey and came to live in God's Own County 17 years ago. We both enjoy travelling and have been all over the world including China, Japan, America, Australia, Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia, India and Europe. We are an easy-going, busy, working family. We enjoy cycling and walking and we look forward to welcoming you into our home.
