About this listing

With space for three separate beds (including a double), our ensuite family room, with wonderful, far-reaching views over open countryside from both windows, will easily accommodate 2 adults and 2 children. There is also a large garden for you to enjoy and our ponies to say hello to over the fence. In the evening, you can relax in your own separate private snug. Breakfast is included in the price, help yourself to tea, coffee, orange juice, cereals, toast and free-range eggs in the morning.

The space

A space large enough to accommodate 2 adults and 2 children. There is a king-size bed in the room and a single sofa bed as well as a pull out full size single mattress.

Guest access

In addition to the ensuite family room, guests have access to a private snug room, for their own personal use, and a kitchen shared with the home owners. There is off street private parking and secure bike storage. It's fine to make use of our kitchen in the evening, if you prefer to make your own meal, rather than eat out.

My friend and I were doing the Way of the Roses on a tandem. This is a great place to stay as it is on the route and the accomodation is geared up for cyclist. Host and Family were very helpful and accommodating. Would have no hesitation recommending this haven for the weary traveller.

This is a really comfortable home with a most welcoming host. The property is in a wonderful setting with ponies grazing outside in the garden. Jo is an excellent host who made us feel very welcome. I would highly recommend this home for a holiday stay.

Fantastic hosts and the perfect bolt hole for visiting the local area! Jo and her family were so welcoming and relaxed and made us feel very at home! Perfect family room with everything we needed! We visited with our two children who loved the outside space and were over the moon when they had the chance to visit the ponies at the bottom of the garden ❤️

We had a great time at Jo's. We were made very welcome by her whole family. The use of the snug and kitchen facilities were very useful, and we enjoyed the family animals (rabbits, cat and ponies) too.

Jo and her family are very friendly and a nice host. The view from the house is very beautiful. You will have everything you need. The location would require a car/transport.

I grew up in Ouseburn and came back to live here four years ago, so I know the area well. My partner is from Addiscombe in Surrey and came to live in God's Own County 17 years ago. We both enjoy travelling and have been all over the world including China, Japan, America, Australia, Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia, India and Europe. We are an easy-going, busy, working family. We enjoy cycling and walking and we look forward to welcoming you into our home.
