Our guests sleep in and comment on the beautiful quiet. Walk to the Cove for a dinner out or a night at the pub, or stroll up to Crippen Park to bird watch or run the forest trails. Pack a picnic and head out to explore the Bowen's pebbly beaches or Crippen Park. Or, relax on the garden patio. Or, even curl up and watch some Netflix when the weather is "fowl".
Children of any age are considered persons for the purpose of booking fees so please include them in your numbers count. There is a maximum number of 6 persons (maximum number of adults is 4), including infants and children, for our suite. Any groups who violate this maximum numbers condition will not be granted access to the suite. Should additional people gain access to our suite without our permission granted through an accepted Airbnb change request, Airbnb will be notified, the contract terminated, and guests required to leave. Should the number of people in your party decrease from your original reservation, we will be happy to refund the extra person charge through a change request with Airbnb. We do not accept cash or refund cash on any bookings.
We do not want parties at our house so please join your friends at one of the many local meeting places to cheers each other.
Sorry but our cats said no dogs.
We are a non smoking house so ask you not to smoke on the property. Bowen gets very dry in the summer, so if you smoke off property please butt out responsibly and put your expired cigarette in a garbage can.
Please do not bring any of the indoor furniture outside. Beach towels are supplied for beach trips.
Our laundry facility is for longer term guest use after first checking with us for a suitable time to wash. We ask this as a courtesy as water pressure is affected when the washer is used. Also there is a line outside the suite and a clothing rack for drying outside when the weather is warm enough to use nature's power.
Retired from teaching I opened our garden suite B&B to meet people and share the amazingly beautiful place we live. I love art, photography, gardening, nature, travelling, skiing and cats, after my family of course. My life is gluten free as a diagnosed celiac and I volunteer at events for the Vancouver Chapter of the CCA. Also, I volunteer at our local arts council gallery through the winter. When I travel I love to mingle with the locals to get a sense of the flavour of the place I am visiting. I always check out the outdoor activities and the art galleries.
