Sarlat became a city in the 8th century. City steeped in history, it was a border between Kings of France and England during the Hundred Years War.
Redesigned by Jean Nouvel, the downtown area is home to a covered food market in St. Mary's Church. The nearby market sells Périgourdin produce, including foie gras, truffles and cheese.
Perfect place to spend a pleasant weekend and enjoy all that the region has to offer!
