Our Little holiday Flat is the first floor of our award winning Cottage Cafe. Set in the Middle of Cardinham woods it is perfect for mountain bikers, walkers, families and people who love Cake!

The space
The building stands alone in 600 acres of Forestry commission woodland all set in the heart of Cornwall. The woods have miles of way marked walks and single track mountain bike trails. It is a really popular place for locals and tourists alike. There is bike hire and badger forest school for kids available on a pre book basis only.

Guest access
The flat and large outside garden will be yours to use exclusively once booked in.

Other things to note
The cafe is open every day although the evenings it is closed and the woodland is very peaceful.

Pets are welcome but we will have to pre approve before a booking will be accepted so please let us know about them. Pets are charged at an extra £20 per pet per stay. This will be added to your total to be agreed.

Lara and David are Cornish born and bred and in fact David grew up a few miles up the valley on Bodmin moor to a sheep farming family. We have a young family and love running our little cafe in the woods. We have run the award winning Woods Cafe since 2009 and lived above it in this flat until December 2014 when we finally managed to buy our own home. We thought people might really enjoy staying in this haven in the middle of Cornwall. The flat is lovely and cosy and the woods are amazing with all the changing seasons and the changing times of day. One of my personal favourite things are the rooks and crows coming in to roost in the evenings during the winter months.
