While this is a destination of its own, Yosemite National Park is a 30 minute drive to the main gate. Or you can always drive 5 minutes to Pine Mountain Lake and enjoy a day at the beach!

The space
What does No Gate Fee mean? Our cabin is located in a gated community called Pine Mountain Lake. We are located just outside the security gates which enables you to avoid the additional charge of $50 that is required to access the many other rental homes inside the PML gates. Also you will bypass a long line on the weekends and the hassle of dealing with gate security as you come and go.

There are 3 beaches at our lake and a snack shop, kids playground and watercraft rentals. Plenty to do! If you do wish to access the lake, you will have to pay the $50.00 Pine Mountain Lake fee to get inside the gated portion where the lake is located. You pay this fee at the gate. This fee is good for a week. There is also a golf course, tennis courts and equestrian center. Please see the official website for Pine Mountain Lake for details.

Brandon and Sayona Hoffman are the owners of the cabin. We sometimes like to greet our guests and are available for any questions about the area or Yosemite.

The u shaped design of the house gives the master bedroom and courtyard nice privacy. The living room opens to the courtyard which is great for socializing. Many windows provide the light happy feel. Rustic furniture gives the home a cozy feel. There is a queen sized bed in the master, a king in the 2nd bedroom and a queen in bedroom 1.

Guests have access to the entire house and yard except the garage which is locked up. There is plenty of parking in the driveway.

Please note the following:

1) Our place is equipped with a 50 amp plug for EV charging. Due to the cost of electricity in our area, there is an additional $15/ night PER VEHICLE fee to use the charge plug. PG&E currently charges $.43-.45/ kWh for our area. The Tesla Supercharger is currently at those rates as well.

If you would like to utilize this feature, please let us know and we will unlock the outlet prior to check in.

2) Since we limit our total allowed guests to 6, if you bring more than 6 guests, we reserve the right to cancel your stay. If we decide to allow it, there is an additional $50 per guest per night fee. Children are guests too:)

3) Due to severe allergies, no animals are allowed on the property.

4) We do have a security camera in the driveway. There are no other cameras on the property.

Guest access
Guests have access to the entire house, courtyard and the backyard where the deer frequently roam.

The garage is not for guest use. Sometimes we need to stop by to get something out of the garage. We do not bother the guests when doing so. The master bedroom closet is locked with our personal things. The drawers and armoire are empty and there is a hanging rack on the closet door for hanging items.

Other things to note
Our cabin is great for chemically sensitive people. We only use natural cleaners and sanitizers in our Cabin. No harmful chemical residues left behind. We use food grade hydrogen peroxide along with an Ultra Violet light sanitizer for the hot tub. Essential oils are also provided for an aromatherapy hot tub experience! The hot tub is heated on demand and returns to cool temperatures when turned off. In the hot summer months it can be used as a cool dip if desired. It takes about 25 minutes to heat for a traditional hot tub experience.

We have a very quiet neighborhood. We do have some traffic noise on Ferretti Road. Mostly during work hours. It is very quiet at night.

We have a tile and stone business here in Groveland. We love where we live! It is so beautiful with so much of God's creation here to enjoy! We like to spend as much time as we can in our volunteer ministry. Sayona loves making jewelry and has some of her pieces on display at the cabin for sale. We love hiking and backpacking in Yosemite. We've been in Groveland for decades. We are happy to share our knowledge of the area here with our guests!
