A warm welcome to The Old Dairy! Once the dairy to a Georgian country Manor House in Hindhead. Now as a self contained annex it's a comfortable place to unwind. Set amongst large, tranquil gardens you will have space to relax – but also it's ideally placed to explore the spectacular surrounding landscape – literally from the garden gate.
For the first morning we will provide a continental breakfast consisting of fresh fruit, pastries and cereals, juice, tea and coffee.

The space
A light and contemporary self-contained space with high vaulted ceilings and your own entrance. With all the comforts of home, the furnishings are of high quality. The lounge has a large comfy sofa and HD satellite TV and wifi.
There is a dining area with a microwave, mini fridge, kettle and toaster. It is a space ideal for making simple snacks but please note there is no oven nor hob. Tea and coffee is provided.
The bedroom has a double bed, lots of cupboard space and double doors out to the attractive patio. The modern ensuite has a walk-in rain shower.

Guest access
You are welcome to enjoy the adjoining patio and the Italianate lower garden.
From the garden there is direct gated access to the woodland walks of Whitmore Vale and the Golden Valley.
Please note there is a slope down into the forest.

Other things to note
We will greet you and hand over the key on arrival. You will find WiFi details and tips on places to eat and shop in your accommodation.
The beautiful National Trust spots of Frensham Ponds, Waggoner's Wells and the Devil's Punch Bowl are very close by.
For golfers, the fabulous Hindhead Golf Club is on our doorstep, and there are also other top courses at Hankley Common and Liphook within a fifteen minute drive.
There are plenty of pubs, cafes and shops nearby.
For some cafe culture the pretty market towns of Haslemere and Farnham are just ten minutes away.
Unfortunately we do not accept pets or children.

Neighbourhood highlights

Hindhead is set in the Surrey Hills, in an area outstanding natural beauty. There are several National Trust spots to explore nearby, such as the spectacular Devil's Punch Bowl and Frensham Ponds. Quieter areas off the beaten track include Waggoner's Wells, Ludshott and Hankley commons. Not only an area for walkers, there are fabulous golf courses nearby and glorious cycling trails. There are a number of wedding venues nearby and so we are well placed for a comfortable short stay. The quaint villages of Churt and Grayshott provide easy day to day shopping and the pretty market towns of Farnham and Haslemere are well worth a visit.

We really love living in this beautiful area, surrounded by stunning scenery, and hope you enjoy your time here too. We will respect your privacy but are happy to recommend places to visit, lovely walks and great days out. One of us can normally be found in the garden …a never ending labour of love!
