Paul and Nicole were amazing in their hospitality that started way before we got to the house. Then being there was being in paradise. The house is a true home, super well equipped, beautifully decorated and oh so comfy. We were spending time there with our family and friends and it 's the perfect place to hang out indoors in one of the many beautiful rooms and the outdoor patio. It's our favorite place to stay in Phoenix from now on!

We stayed at the Wilshire House for a little over 2 weeks, so we could visit the Barrow Neurological Institute for my sister's surgery. We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay at and better people to deal with than Stanley and Nicole. The location is unbeatable, only 6 blocks away from the hospital, which allowed us great transportation flexibility. The neighborhood is very nice and quiet, yet it's very close to many places that we were interested in (grocery store, shopping malls, etc.) The house was really nice and comfortable. It definitely was a better choice for my family and me than a hotel would have been (and for the same price than 3 bedrooms at a medium-priced hotel). The rooms are all very spacious, bed are comfortable, towels and linens are available in big quantities. The house is fully equipped, with even more things than we would have expected. Of course, the kitchen is filled with enough cookware, dishes, glasses, etc. We found a lot of things nicely left for us (mayo, mustard, cereal, fruit, even beers). Stanley and Nicole were incredibly nice to us. Since we didn't know how long the recovery would go on for, they were extremely kind not to accept any more reservations after us, until we confirmed our day of departure. They really made this process very comfortable for us. I would recommend them 100%. We're very happy to have stayed with them!

Stanley and Nicole were terrific hosts. The Wilshire house was very nice and conveniently located. 3 co-workers and I were there for a conference and this house allowed us to escape from the chaos of the conference; yet it will still convenient to the convention center. It was very easy to catch the rail to downtown. I especially enjoyed walking the neighborhood.

Response from Stanley Paul:
Hi (URL HIDDEN) sorry abut the recycling bin not having been emptied prior to your visit and obviously I am upset about the roach being seen. Always a constant battle with insects as with any household, nevertheless, I apologize for your group for both of these instances. Take care! Stanley

The Wilshire House was great! It had all the amenities we could possibly want and was in a great location. There are several restaurants a short walk away and it was very close to the lightrail for easy access to downtown. The immediate neighborhood was residential and quiet.

Four of us rented the Wilshire House for a long, golf weekend in Phoenix. Stanley and his daughter Nicole were consummate and lovely hosts. The house is very well-situated on a quiet, dead end street in a wonderful small neighborhood (called "Willo") near downtown Phoenix with easy access to highways. Wilshire house was a great place for us to stay. It was very clean, very comfortable, stocked with treats for guests and all in all a wonderful place for our weekend. Compliments to Stanley for his accommodating and friendly service and to Wilshire House for its comfort and friendliness. We loved it and don't hesitate to give it an enthusiastic recommendation!

Response from Stanley Paul:
What kind words, Jeff. Thanks from both Nicole and me. I know from personal experience that it can be tricky taking that leap of faith from imagery and descriptions online to what one actually finds when opening the door to a vacation rental. We are thrilled that we met your expectations and that you had a good time staying at The Wilshire House! Please tell your friends and family and we look forward to your next visit. Stanley

My vocation is real estate broker licensed both in California and Arizona. Having invested and developed properties over the last 30+ years, I am most proud of this wonderful home in the Willo Historical District in Central Phoenix. With the tremendous help of my daughter Nicole, her best friend Erin, contractor Olson Bros. Construction, the complete remodel of this house has become a little gem in my portfolio. I look forward to having the opportunity to complete more of these projects using the same crew with the same exciting results!
