Oliver and his family were very welcoming when we arrived and responsive any time we need them or had a question. The boys were impressively polite and helpful. The farmhouse is spacious and nearby to Skibbereen. The house is indeed a farmhouse in the countryside so the road was very narrow but manageable even for someone who is not used to driving in Ireland.

Oliver was a perfect host. He left us to our own devices to enjoy the area and was available if I had any questions. The house is in a very secluded area so I would say a car is essential if staying here. Perfect for people looking for a quiet private space of their own for a few days.

An real rural scenery with lots of space. Everything in the house worked well. The house is very basic.

A quaint authentic farmhouse in rural West Cork but very easy access to many local attractions once you have a car, we were welcomed by Oliver and his sons and shown about the property, lots of nice touches like wild flowers in a vase and farm fresh eggs for breakfast, beds were very comfortable, fully equipped kitchen (we cooked all our meals here ) It is an old house so full of character and low doorways! I would definitely recommend this location if you have a car

Oliver and his family provided a very warm welcome and were very helpful as to making our stay enjoyable from gathering fresh farm eggs to using their toys. The location is beautiful with easy driving access to many local areas. A beautiful beach can be found at Barleycove. Overall a wonderful stay.

Our stay was very good at the house near Skibbereen. The house is nice and the location is beautiful. Oliver and the family are great hosts. Skibbereen is a lovely town! Price versus quality is perfect!
