About this listing
A sunny, private, serene, modern 1-bedroom apartment, Western & Hollywood intersection. Perfect for traveler-tourist. Minutes walk to subway, bus, food stores, bars/clubs, Hollywood, Thai town, Observatory, hiking trails, Los Feliz, Heart of tourism.
The BEST LOCATION -- as close to everything as it gets! And easy public transit to Downtown, Pasadena, WeHo, West Side, Greek Theater & Los Feliz 15 minute walk, subway 3 minutes away -- you name it. Gotta keep it real, I have 2 ankle bitters (small dogs) and one cat that mostly sleeps but if your not an animal person this is not the place for you!
You will have a sunny beautiful SPACIOUS BEDROOM to yourself. The bed is queen size and the room is private. Plenty of sunlight during the day, as this is a corner-of-the-building room, closet, and dresser. Free access to the shared bathroom both roomy & modern. Those guests booking for more than one day will have full access (cooking) to the shared modern kitchen, fridge, and stove. Guests will always be given access to store food in the refrigerator.
Interaction with guests
I'm staying in the living room, so you'd inevitably see plenty of me. How much we interact is really up to the guest. I'm quite laid-back and low-key & hold privacy and independence in great esteem and generally expect the same from my guests. But I'm also quite sociable and forthcoming with tips and pointers -- should you desire any -- on making the best of your stay in LA, whether it's sightseeing tips or best-of recommendations. I'm a world traveler myself and have stayed in many motels, hotels, hostels so I know what i need when I travel, Mate!
This area is right in the middle of everything..all the tourist spots, Sunset, Hollywood touristy/clubby. This apartment complex is no party central. It's quite mellow: no rowdy parties and no loud noise after 10 pm. Same is expected of all that stay here. There is Figueros French Bistro, see a lot of stars there. This area is one of the prime tourist/travel accommodation areas cause were smack in the middle of it all.
With the best movie theater, large farmer's market (on Sundays) in Los Feliz, oodles of wining and dining all a stumbling distance away -- not to mention the sprawling Griffith Park with its massive Observatory and the Hollywood Sign, you may not run out of things to do so soon. But as for getting around neighboring areas (WeHo, NoHo, Bev Hills, Downtown, Silver Lake, Universal Studios, etc.), it's nice and easy, with a few major bus lines running within 1 block of the place and the major subway train line chugging 1 block away, along right by it, with extra late hours on weekends. I can help you out with figuring out any directions
Other things to note
There's a SECURE PARKING SPOT underground the rental for an additional fee. A great asset for those with the car, as finding parking in the neighborhood can be a serious feat. LAUNDRY & DRYER facilities on the premises (just 1.25 per load per load for each wash and dry.). Must have quarters.
Respectful, considerate and ask if you are unsure of something. A drug free house.
