A beautiful and spacious 4 bed unit in a stunning location, only 12 mins from the top of State Street. This private unit sleeps 8 is only available midweek and comes with its own private balconies. Part of a villa, and surrounded by stunning mountain views, magical sunsets and in a quiet environment, guests are welcome to use a weekly serviced hot tub, BBQ and grounds with patio (occasionally shared with other guests if the another unit at the property is booked). Guest access
Guests have access to the 4 bedroom, 3-bath unit within this spectacular villa.
You will have your own entrance and private balconies.
Occasionally there will be other guests staying in other units at the villa, and they share part of the outdoor areas including the spa and use of the BBQ.
However, your unit has its own private entrance, balconies, and outdoor seating area with a propane fire pit.

Our wonderful caretaker lives in the lowest unit of the property but he does not share any part of the grounds with the guests. He has his own driveway, and balcony, and you may occasionally see him come and go. Please do not go on his level - thank you!

Other things to note
Quiet hours: 10pm - 7am

Please ensure you thoroughly read through the entire listing description, scrolling through to the bottom to read House Rules, thank you!
Please abide by the House Rules and be respectful of other guests who may be in the other units at the villa.

Note: This is an estate on 7 acres with beautiful views and surrounding land. With this comes elements of being a non-urban area property. For example, there have been times where the city is working on repairs and has maintenance power outages (these are relatively rare, and the property has an onsite generator capable of running many household functions, in this eventuality). Also, there can be wildlife and sometimes high winds on the ridge. There may periodically be landscapers and/or spa-service on the grounds.

POLICIES & ADDITIONAL FEES: The property is in a high-risk fire area, therefore NO SMOKING, NO VAPING, or open fires are allowed anywhere on the property and are strictly prohibited. If there is smoking on the property you will be assessed a minimum of a $250 fee.

VERY OCCASIONAL HEATWAVES - On very rare occasions, Santa Barbara can experience a heatwave. One of the byproducts unique to this area is that ants will try to access homes during unusually hot weather. The management takes measures to mitigate this, especially when a heatwave is forecast, however, the we cannot guarantee that ants will not be present at the property, especially during or after hot weather. It is unfortunate when it happens - we will take every measure that we can, in conjunction with our local pest company

Welcome to Santa Barbara—The American Riviera®. Where golden hillsides cascade into sparkling seas. Red-tile roofs give way to abundantly sunny skies. Santa Barbara is a city on the central California coast, with the Santa Ynez Mountains as dramatic backdrop. Downtown, Mediterranean-style white stucco buildings with red-tile roofs reflect the city’s Spanish colonial heritage. Upscale boutiques and restaurants offering local wines and seasonal fare line State Street. On a nearby hill, Mission Santa Barbara, founded in 1786, houses Franciscan friars and a museum. This is where wine country and lush gardens welcome you, festivals and music dance through the streets, and porticos lead to quaint downtown enclaves. Scenic views are everywhere. Santa Barbara creates a postcard-perfect backdrop for your next coastal retreat.

Pack your bags, throw on those shades & hit the streets for an unforgettable experience in one of the most beautiful places in the world. #SeeSB

Consider yourself warned — Santa Barbara has wanderlust written all over it. And once you set foot in this fair city, you’ll want to come back again and again.

Enjoy Santa Barbara’s year-round, Mediterranean-style weather on sandy beaches. Follow the bike path that parallels the ocean and stretches from one beach to the next. And when you’ve found the perfect landing spot, drop your bags and go for a dip in moderate temperature waters. Fancy something a bit sportier? Head out toward the Santa Barbara Channel on a stand-up paddleboard or kayak. Across the harbor, visit Stearns Wharf, where you can go wine tasting in the only wine bar that sits over the ocean where you might just catch a glimpse of dolphins playing in the water.

Wander the streets of uptown and downtown Santa Barbara, where you’ll find boutiques, trusted name-brand stores, locally owned restaurants and cafés, and a generous dose of culture. Stroll through one of California’s oldest outdoor arcades, Paseo de la Guerra. Spend a day of refinement in art museums and galleries. Discover the rich history of the Presidio Neighborhood and visit one of Santa Barbara’s oldest original homes in Casa de la Guerra. At night, be entertained under the stars with a concert performance at the Santa Barbara Bowl, located at the base of The American Riviera® or catch a live theater show at Ensemble Theatre Company at the New Vic.

Visit The Funk Zone, a storied area located between the Pacific Ocean and Highway 101 that is home to artisanal restaurants, wine-tasting rooms, award-winning craft breweries, distilleries in renovated warehouses, and tucked-away galleries. This area is also serves as the epicenter of the Urban Wine Trail — a self-guided trail of 20+ tasting rooms pouring Santa Barbara County wines, which makes getting to know our wine country fun and easy.

From foodie joints in The Funk Zone to historic streets in the Presidio to irresistible storefronts on State Street, explore Santa Barbara’s beautiful, eclectic neighborhoods and get ready to be wowed.
