Our stay with Bob was definitely a highlight on our road trip around Ireland, she is really knowledgeable on the area and provided us with lots of awesome tips of where and where not to go. We loved the place and really felt at home, she went out of her way to make sure we could make a (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN) interview and was generally great to talk to. Come and visit us in NZ Bob!

The house is in a beautiful area. The room we stayed in was large, with everything we needed. The only tiny issue we had was with the wet room - as it was quite small it was very difficult to use the facilities without ending up with wet feet. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay in Ballyhar House.

Bob and her home are both absolutely delightful. An unusual and beautiful house to stay in - all designed and fitted out by Bob herself and you can see the love and care she has put into it. Bob has lots of info about the local area and has been very thoughtful about providing maps for guests, giving full use of her kitchen and home, and even gave us a lift into town when we really needed one. The only difficulty is that Airbnb's map isn't correct - it shows the house as being much closer to Killarney town than it is so a car or cabs are needed. We couldn't have had a nicer stay - thank you Bob.

Caroline was the hostess with the mostest and great fun! She was so welcoming and we sat in the kitchen chatting for about 2 hours once we'd arrived. She also gave us tips and maps for our trip around the Ring of Kerry, and definitely made the day even better than it already would have been. The room itself is lovely, has a small ensuite bathroom/wetroom and the whole house is beautiful and fun. It's just a short drive outside of Killarney, and perfectly positioned for the Ring of Kerry, Killarney itself and driving on to Limerick. Caroline also gave us some great tips for food in Killarney, and went out of her way to help us with anything. We'd stay there again in a heartbeat.

Absolutely wonderful! This was our first stop in Ireland. Bob was incredibly generous, kind, and informative. Accommodations could not have been better. It's just a quick drive into Killarney for some shopping and to meet the tour for Gap of Dunloe (highly recommended!). We feel we made a good friend in Bob and loved staying in her very charming home. Highly recommend!!

Bob was a very open and friendly host. Her house was very cozy and felt like home due to her. We would absolutely recommend a stay in Bob's place if you have a vehicle and plan a trip to the nearby city or national park.

Bob was a wonderful host. She supplied me with a wealth of info for places to check out (and maps to go along with them) and tips I wouldn't have otherwise known (e.g., only swim at the blue flag beaches). The house was lovely, and the bed comfy. The bathroom was a bit small, so your feet are likely to get wet if you use the shower. I put a towel outside the door ☺. Would definitely stay here again if I ended up in Killarney.
