Hi! Welcome to my profile. I am originally from Norway, but I have lived in Bordeaux for over 16 years. I fell in love with this city, and I am sure that you will too. I work in the wine industry and I am happy to give you tips about chateaux to visit, what to look for etc. I lived in the old part of Bordeaux when I came here, and I believe it has the best atmosphere of Bordeaux. Now I live in the country side outside Bordeaux with my little family. I am also happy to give you insider tips on where to go, what to see, where to eat etc and let you discover Bordeaux like a real bordelais. Some of the things I love about Bordeaux are: going to the Sunday farmer's market on the quais for sea food and white wine, enjoying some of the roof top Sunday brunches, eating out in the old town, renting a city bike and head on the right bank for a relaxed picnic, stroll in the city's many museums, getting fresh bread from my favorite boulangerie in Rue de Pas St Georges and some cheese across the street to go with that. watching a VO movie at Utopia cinema, and so much more!
Feel free to contact me, and I'm looking forward to hosting you!
