The house was lovely, clean and washroom facilities great. Takashi was very nice and made sure I had the key even though he was out when I arrived. The bedroom was smaller than the photo looks but that was not a problem at all. It wasn't easy to find the house to start with as I didn't have internet on my phone to follow the map but the ladies at the spa close by knew where it was and showed me.

We had a great stay at Takashi's place. It was comfortable, and well situated; we could easily find something to eat in the mornings and evenings, and was just a short walk from the station.

We had a great time in Kyoto, and Takashi was a superb host. It's a tidy and cozy house near the nijo station. Takashi speaks good English that we can communicate fluently. Bicycle is the best transportation tool for Kyoto sight seeing, fortunately Takashi has two, that we will be able to easily go to anywhere with the bike. Ramen restaurant Takashi recommended was the best we tried so far. Will come back next time.

I had a great stay at Takashi's place. Very friendly and he gave lots of advice - also quick with all online communication. I borrowed his bike which was a brilliant way of seeing as many of the sites as possible. It's a great way to see how the Japanese live - traditional house. It was cold outside but the bed was warm. A really enjoyable couple of days.

I felt very welcome at Takashi's place and truly enjoyed my time. His place is a great vantage point to discover Kyoto from (good public transport access) and is a perfect place to rest after a long day of discovering Kyoto.

Takashi's appartment is in a quiet neighbourhood but still close to good public transportation to Kyoto main sites. Check-in was smooth. Due to our different schedules we did not really have the chance to interact much.
