Light, dual aspect spacious double bedroom with wonderful views. Own lounge & downstairs shower room Set in beautiful, peaceful gardens yet close to a thriving shopping area with frequent public transport into the city or out to the Peak National Park .
The specious double bedroom comfortably sleeps 2 persons in a double bed. There is room for a travel cot (guests own) at the side if required. From the 2 windows there are views across the attractive gardens to the south of Sheffield and beyond to the moors.
Guests have the use of a downstairs shower room, the kitchen to make drinks and a comfortable lounge with TV & DVD player. A light breakfast will be served in the shared dining room or kitchen if preferred.
Interaction with guests
I welcome interaction with guests but will also respect their wishes for quiet or privacy, should they prefer this.
Other things to note
There is free WiFi in the house and a code will be passed on to guests if needed.
It is an old cottage, so the wooden stairs to the first floor bedrooms are fairly steep.
From the gate there is a long winding path with some steps going up to the cottage, so not suitable for those with limited mobility.
For the sake of other guests no pets are allowed and smokers are asked to please smoke outside and dispose of their cigarettes in a responsible manner.
I have some wooden floors and stairs, so slippers are useful, but some are provided if no space in luggage. Please refrain from going upstairs in outdoor shoes, due to noise on the wooden stairs.

I am a retired teacher with 3 children and 5 grandchildren, some of whom live locally. Love my amazing garden, which takes up a fair chunk of time. Apart from grandchildren, gardening and church involvement, I do a fair amount of volunteering with various charities.
I love France and the French language, love warmth, so should have been born in a hotter country, love walking and beautiful countryside.
