Light, dual aspect spacious double bedroom with wonderful views. Own lounge & downstairs shower room Set in beautiful, peaceful gardens yet close to a thriving shopping area with frequent public transport into the city or out to the Peak National Park .

The space

The specious double bedroom comfortably sleeps 2 persons in a double bed. There is room for a travel cot (guests own) at the side if required. From the 2 windows there are views across the attractive gardens to the south of Sheffield and beyond to the moors.

Guest access

Guests have the use of a downstairs shower room, the kitchen to make drinks and a comfortable lounge with TV & DVD player. A light breakfast will be served in the shared dining room or kitchen if preferred.

Interaction with guests

I welcome interaction with guests but will also respect their wishes for quiet or privacy, should they prefer this.

Other things to note

There is free WiFi in the house and a code will be passed on to guests if needed.

It is an old cottage, so the wooden stairs to the first floor bedrooms are fairly steep.

From the gate there is a long winding path with some steps going up to the cottage, so not suitable for those with limited mobility.

My stay at Beryl's was more than perfect. The view from the house is the best so far. The place is easily approachable by public and private transport. Good places to eat around the house. Close proximity to the city centre. I would gladly recommend Beryl's place to anyone and everyone.

We had a great stay in Beryl's house. She was there to welcome us and show us round, and made us a lovely breakfast in the morning. The bed was comfortable and the view from the bedroom was beautiful. It was perfectly located for activities in and around Sheffield. Many thanks!

Beryl was a very accommodating host and lovely to chat to. Her house is situated at the top of a steep road, with great views over Sheffield. If you have trouble with stairs, this house isn't for you as they are steep; the bedroom is on the first floor, the bathroom being on the ground floor. Lovely garden.

Beryl User ProfileBeryl is a superhost.

I am a retired teacher with 3 children and 5 grandchildren, some of whom live locally. Love my amazing garden, which takes up a fair chunk of time. Apart from grandchildren, gardening and church involvement, I do a fair amount of volunteering with various charities.
I love France and the French language, love warmth, so should have been born in a hotter country, love walking and beautiful countryside.
