About this listing
A beautiful condo located on one of the nicest blocks in Seattle. Built of reclaimed materials with 20 foot ceilings and tons of windows, there is nothing like it in the city. Enjoy Seattle's best restaurants and one of its coolest neighborhoods.
Capitol Hill is basically a mix of the West Village and Lower East Side of Seattle. It's where you will find the newest bars and restaurants. While Seattle is generally pretty grungy, this is one of its nicest urban streets, and there is a great mix of fashion boutiques, restaurants, and bars within a 3 block radius. The building itself is across the street from four restaurants and houses a prohibition era bar and exotic (Portland) donut shop. The unit itself is really beautiful. It is on the top floor of a historic building that was gutted and rebuilt with reclaimed materials. When I moved to Seattle I searched far and wide for something unique and not cookie cutter and this was by far the winner. It is a 10 minute walk to downtown or a $6 uber ride. It is such an active street that ubers are usually waiting right outside.
There is a patio in the unit as well as a roof top deck. Otherwise the building is very simple and Seattle-esque.
Interaction with guests
I interact with guests as much as they want to! I have left a self-written guide book and my friend Rory will answer any questions that come up if I am traveling.
Be considerate. Please no smoking inside (there is a deck). Please keep the music down after 10pm.

I'm a 34 year old I moved to Seattle in 2013, but grew up in Vancouver and lived in Montreal, Toronto, and New York in between.
I started Airbnb hosting in 2015 when I took time off to travel. It worked out well so I turned a condo into a monthly furnished rental when I went back to work.
As a guest, I'm pretty low maintenance. I leave the unit neat and tidy - just like my best guests!
