We have truly had an excellent time staying at this apartment. Ashraf and his parents were excellent hosts, very kind and hospitable. Words can do no justice to how nice and polite they were. Ashraf's mother was so kind that she would sometimes bring us sweets, although she didn't really have to. It was very hospitable and thoughtful of her and made us feel at home. Our privacy was fully respected too, so the hosts are outstanding! This apartment is large, with all necessary facilities one could possibly need. We adored the spacious, well lit living room and kitchen and the cozy bedrooms. There is a washing machine and drying racks, everything needed for cooking and plenty of space for storing your clothes and suitcases. We stayed there for almost 2 months, so we can say it's great for a long term stay. The area is quiet, upper class and very peaceful. The only problem we encountered was seeing a LOT of poisonous brown recluse spiders (and as a professional I can tell a recluse spider from the others) but this is NOT the hosts' or the apartment's fault. Israel has a ton of creepy living creatures, so be careful and bring some insect poison :) Overall, we had an amazing time in this apartment! Loved every minute. Would recommend this place to anyone looking for a great place in the Holy City. Feeling so sad now that we're away...

Our stay in Ashraf's space was awsome! The house is just as shown in the pictures and the it is very confortable. It is located in a quiet and nice neighborhood, not far from the Old City and close to lots of shops and stores. It was very easy to park in front of the house and there are many buses stops to people without car. The shower was woooonderful and better than many hotels I've stayed!! The kitchen has anything you need to cook and we cooked every day! The house street was so quiet that was the perfect place to rest after a day of trips. Ashraf and Viviana were very good hosts, always ready to answer our doubts. I sure recommend this place to anyone that is looking for the perfect price/quality ratio!!!

My wife and I loved staying here for almost three weeks. The house was perfect for us, communication with Ashraf and his parents was great. We're hoping to stay here again the next time we come to the area.

We had a lovely week in the flat in Jerusalem. Everything were as described in the prewiev of the flat, and it was clean an spacious as mentioned. We were greeted by Ashrafs parents and felt very welcomed. Ashraf was very helpful and we had good contact through mails before arriving. Shops are close to the flat, and buses to the center are just around the corner. We can only recomend the flat to anyone who is going to have a holiday in Jerusalem

We were welcomed by this friendly family and shown round the beautiful, clean flat after having drinks and home-made stuffed dates. We were given more home-grown dates and fresh eggs from their hens, as well as olive oil, za'atar and bread to keep us going. The flat is as you see in the photos with a great selection of books and a patio where you can relax. The neighbourhood is so friendly and the shops cheap - much cheaper than Jerusalem. There is everything you need for cooking in the flat and the fresh fruit and vegetables are a wonder and cost a fraction of European prices. The buses run every few minutes into the centre at Damascus Gate and cost almost nothing for a fifteen minute trip. We loved chatting to the locals! It is also quick and simple to visit Ramallah in the West Bank and the family give all the help and advice you need to go there or to visit other Palestinian towns like Bethlehem and Nablus. We will be back to visit the next time as it is so much more interesting to sleep here and have all your questions answered by Ashraf. A huge thank you and see you on our next trip to the Holy Land!

Ashraf rented out the place to my sister and she had one of the best experiences. Ashraf and his family were Amazing to say the least. My sister loved the house which was spacious, private and very beautifully and tastefully decorated. Ashraf's family are excellent and kind hosts, they tended to my Sister's needs-- even bringing her a TV and offering her food and sweets on daily basis. The house is located in a nice upper-class area of East Jerusalem and is well connected to the city center. Ashraf, was very understanding when it came to extending and shortening the duration of stay. If you feel like you want to be pampered as if you were in the comfort of your own family, yet with your privacy being fully respected, I highly recommend staying at this place. I think we have a family in Jerusalem
