Nurdin was such a kind host and it was a real pleasure to stay here. I felt very welcome at his place and enjoyed having conversations late into the night about Kyrgyzstan and lots of other things. Nurdin made sure I had space to work and a good supply of tea, and invited me to eat dinner with his family many of times. He was always accessible by telephone if anything went wrong. The room was comfortable and perfect for my needs. His parents, brother, and sister-in-law also made me feel very welcome. Overall, I'm so happy I stayed there. A highlight of the Kyrgyzstan trip! One thing: the house is maybe a 25 minute walk from the centre. The official street name is not the same as the street name that everybody calls the street and the name on (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN) Maps (Kirova) so if you get a taxi make sure to say Kirova and don't be confused if the signs are wrong. If you walk, the name is Dushaeva.

Stay at Nurdin´s was very nice and I can only recommend his "Home stay" to all travellers who head to Karakol! Nurdin is a very kind, hospitable and helpful person who always tryes to do his best to his guests. The house is nice, clean, the room comfortable and convenient. The location is a bit far from the centre, but can be quite easily reached by marshrutka or (cheap) taxi.

Nurdin is a very nice guy, very keen to show Karakol to his visitors and help them organize their journey. He is also very eager to genuinely get to know them. His house is also comfortable. I would definitely recommend Nurdin as a guest, and would come to see him if I go back to Kyrgyzstan in the future.

Nurdin is friendly, polite and intelligent person. His home is cute, clean and comfortable. In the outside cute arbor. Near the downtown. We had lunch in good cafe and tried national food and spent good time. He accompanied us before the bus stop and Nurdin always glad to help. We will be happy to stay in Homestay in KaraKol again. It was the best Homestay.

Nurdin is a really great guy with lots of insight and knowledge, and besides providing a very good homestay, he also helped me out with many practical things. I enjoyed our evening meals with him and his family and our conversations. Nurdin is also very easy to talk with and has a genuine interest for people. On my last day he even followed me to the bus station to ensure that I got on the right minibus for the right price. Highly recommended!

Love & Peace!
