Highly recommendable to families, but word of caution to small children due to steep stairs in going to the bedrooms

Lucy's place is in a great location, this is definitely true. It is such a short walk to JR Akihabara and to good places to eat like CoCo Curry that we could not say no to applying to stay here for our trip to Japan. I notice now that a lot of the other reviews also comment on the location of this apartment and do not mention much else usually which is OK but I think it is important to talk about the apartment itself. We had eight people stay here and it was small. Very small - we also aren't particularly big. We know that apartments in Tokyo can definitely be small but for a place that suggests up to 10 people can stay there, we would not suggest more than six if you wish to be somewhat comfortable. The bedding is OK but some of us ended up purchasing inflatable beds from Don Quixote to be able to sleep better as some of the provided bedding was thin so you may as well have just slept without using anything. It must say that it's comforting to not worry about being too loud here as the building is surrounded by businesses which are closed later in the day so there are no other residents to disturb in the building. There is a lift that takes you up to the apartment so there aren't any stairs you have to worry about taking luggage up and the apartment spans over three floors. There is a microwave and a stove cooktop that we did not use but seemed fine, an electronic kettle and big sinks to wash things in both the kitchen and the bathroom. Upstairs and downstairs from the main floor are the bedrooms and there are four in total, on each floor one is with tatami mats and the other room is what I guess most consider to be western style. The bathroom is a bit interesting and some of the instructions left for it and other things such as rubbish collection are a little confusing but you do work it out and if you have any questions Lucy is very quick to answer you which is great. The wireless internet is located in the kitchen where there is a very big table, we had some issues with the internet and that table with so many people staying there but if you are six or less people I think this apartment will suit. If you aren't going to spend much time at an apartment and wish to be very close to JR Akihabara station then this is a good spot for its location, otherwise we wouldn't recommend staying here with more than six people as it might be a bit cramped with more than that.

Location of the apartment was good. (2 minutes to Akihabara Station). Lucy gave clear directions and we had no problems finding the place. Rooms were clean and there were ample space for 8 people.
