Ana Paula and Diego were very accommodating and friendly hosts who went above and beyond to ensure we had an excellent stay. The cabin is set away from the rest of the buildings on the property, so you feel very secluded, yet within just a short walk among the vineyard you are at the main building, the Almacen. The cabin is absolutely beautiful in a rustic "glamping" way. The huge windows overlooking the countryside, soaring roof with exposed rafters, and lavender-lined porch was exactly up our alley! We had jam from the Almacen with toast every morning on our porch overlooking the vineyard. Diego gave us the full wine tasting lasting hours with a beautiful food accompaniment and lots of interesting conversation. While Ana Paula and Diego don't speak fluent English, they certainly try very hard and you are able to converse in a delightful Spanglish. Complimentary bicycles make getting to the surrounding bodegas easy and enjoyable. In addition to Bodega Cordano (on the property), we visited El Legado nearby for some excellent wine and a tour of the grounds. (Ask to see the photos of the construction/renovation of the buildings on the grounds. Quite amazing how they transformed the place into what it is today.) In general, the location is very secluded and rural, and you feel very far away from the hustle and bustle of city life. It was a joy to find this gem! Unforgettable experience!
