About this listing

The space

Awesome room in the heart of Copenhagen kool. With free bikes it's a perfect base for getting to all the must-see's and hanging out with the local hipsters at night. The area offers the best for those who want a to see more than the typical tourist.

A large (about 20 m2) room with a loft. It has 1 double bed downstairs - and two single beds upstairs in the loft. In total there is space for 4 sleeping guests, an extra mattress can be arranged upon request for a fifth.

THE ROOFTOP APARTMENT is located in NoAss, the area North of the Assistens Cementary, resting place of our grand author H.C. Andersen and a central spot on Nørrebro in Copenhagen.

THE AREA is the new center of coolness in Copenhagen offering urban farming in the park. Just outside the door you also find Michelin restaurants, world champion baristas, Mikkeler Beer Bar, authentic craftmakers in shoe and ceramics on the hip Jægersborgsgade which is a non profil shopping street. TAXA cafe on right on the corner serves delicious food all day long

The shared apartment is newly renovated with floor heating, high speed wifi, dishwasher, cleaning lady etc.

There are bikes for free disposal if you want to try to transport yourself around like other Copenhageners. It might be scary at first but it´s a fun experience and you will quickly learn.

WE ARE young creative professionals living here and happy to show you around or give you some very qualified insider tips of do´s and dont´s in the city.

you have full access to ~ Kitchen ~ 20mb internet ~ 2 bikes ~ 2 bathrooms ~

I am traveling a lot myself, but most likely I will be around for your convenience and take care of you. I respect your privacy, but if you need anything let me know. Sometimes I cook for you, sometimes we go get a coffee or take you on a boat trip in the harbor. sometimes I don't see you at all. Every guest is a new experience, so its all up to you what you wanna make of it.

THE AREA is the new center of coolness in Copenhagen offering urban farming in the park. Just outside the door you also find Michelin restaurants (my favorite Manfreds), world champion baristas (my favorite Coffee Collective), Mikkeler Beer Bar, authentic craftmakers in jewelry and ceramics on the hip Jægersborgsgade which is a non profit shopping street. I have a store there and hopefully you'll come visit me! Also TAXA cafe right on the corner serves delicious food all day long.

BIKING ~bikes are included, so you can get to anywhere in the city within 10-20 minutes. Copenhagen has biking first priorety and wide lanes for bikes only, so you'll be protected from cars and this is truly a luxury experience compared to cities like London & NY, where biking seems dang
WALKING is also a great way to get around. the city center is a beautiful 20 min walk through the cemetery of HC Andersen and crossing the old lakes defending the city in viking times.

PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION in Copenhagen is among the worlds best as the city has a always had a very green profile, making it very hard and expensive for you to drive a car. So Bus+Metro runs every 5-7 minutes and gets you everywhere.

The room can be rented out as one separate room or together with 2 other rooms in my large rooftop apartment. Please check under my other listings for price and availability if you have a large group and need more space!

There will most likely be other kool Airbnb guests in another room I rent out during your stay. A great way to meet people and share some traveling stories and tips. Airbnb always brings good people together, it's how I met my wife when she was my guest almost 3 years ago :)

Airbnb is built on trust and is the reason I welcome you into my home in the first place, because I trust you! The bedroom doors do not have locks, so please find in it in you to trust the other guests, just as they will trust you and I will trust you.
Trust is the key to peace in the world and it starts with us being a part of Airbnb. A global network of trusting each other to open their homes. A beautiful thing if you think about it.
I also trust that you will follow these rules:
CLEAN KITCHEN AFTER USE: Put dishes in dishwasher, dry dishes and put away after use.
PLEASE CLOSE WINDOWS WHEN LEAVING THE APARTMENT. Weather in Copenhagen can change very fast and we don't like rain inside.
When showering please pull shower doors ALL THE WAY CLOSED toward you, if you don't do this you will flood the bathroom! And please be a good person and take your hair from the drain when you exit the shower :)
You can check into the apartment anytime using the keybox however the room will be ready around 15-16.

This is definitely more of a hostel situation than a standard AirBnb, which isn't a bad thing, but there were some cleanliness issues that weren't addressed during my stay (toilets needed cleaning, no hand soap in the bathrooms)

Rasmus's place was a perfect choice to stay for a weekend in Copenhagen for our little family. The area was children friendly, close to the center, perfect to relax in the nice neighborhood.I can strongly recommend to everyone.

Rasmus's place could not have been situated in a better spot, just around the corner from buses, a few stops to the metro and right in the middle of what must be one of the most fantastic parts of Copenhagen to stay. The room was as described, bright, airy and very comfortable. Everything was easy which was great as was travelling solo. Loved it! Thanks for having me Rasmus :)

This is a cool and shared flat in a popular and hip area in Copenhagen. You will share the apartment with several other airbnb guests as well as people living their normal 9-5 here. Even though it says a few things about it in the room description, it's nice to keep in mind, depending on your wishes for the stay. The room looks better and bigger in real life than in the pictures. I really liked it - simple and with a green view. It was also a bug plus to have bikes, so you can go straight out on the roads after your arrival. One negative aspect: The flush in the bathroom didn't work in the morning, and I didn't get any response when I messaged the host. But I guess shit happens.

Unlike some lofts I have spent time in, Rasmus's loft has excellent ventilation through the windows and we could readily manage the temperature. Granted, we didn't see super hot days, but cooler days in other lofts have felt (URL HIDDEN) that's nice. The home is what you need, not more, the views are fun, and the location is great (a really nice view of how great "just out of the city suburban apartment living" can be when it is done well - go Denmark!).

Rasmus' place is clean and in a great location away from the craziness of central Copenhagen but in the heart of a cool neighborhood and a few minutes ride to almost anywhere you'd want to go. Rasmus is a great guy and will be happy to help with any advice you need while you're in town. Great having access to his bikes too!
