Description

Apartment “Stüberl”
The apartment consists of a hall, a kitchen, a modern bathroom with shower and toilet, a bedroom and a living room (there is a sofa bed where other 2 people can sleep). In front of the apartment there is a terrace facing the courtyard.
The apartment is fully furnished and equipped with articles of daily use like dishes, towels, bedclothes and so on. All existing devices (TV, radio, dishwasher, electric kitchen stove, microwave, coffee machine, refrigerator, washing machine, hairdryer, iron and ironing board) can be used. In the kitchen there is also a wood stove available.
In order to protect the environment hot water is heated by a solar system. Also, the power used is largely produced by a photovoltaic system. In winter the apartment is heated with a wood stove. Firewood is provided.
Wireless internet is available free of charge.

There is also a second apartment named “Haupthaus” in the former farmhouse. The second apartment can be rented separately.

The whole apartment including storage space is available without restriction for our guests. Further a large garden, a private courtyard which is not visible from outside the farmhouse, a portable barbecue grill, a ping pong table, a swing, a small wine cellar, a “Kramladen” where you can buy small products from our own production, parking and Wi-Fi are available. The owner of the property doesn’t live on the same grounds. But the courtyard and garden is maintained by the owner. It might also happen that tenants of the other apartment use the courtyard and garden.

Upon arrival our guests will be introduced into the details of the apartment. A key will be handed out for the length of your stay. If questions occur during your stay we are happy to answer them by phone at any time!
Please let us know your arrival time as precisely as possible. If we are not present at the farmhouse upon your arrival please contact us by phone. We will be there no later than in 15 minutes!
The apartment will be inspected after you move out, and you will be charged for any damages and/or missing items.

The quiet village Diemschlag is surrounded by meadows and forests, therefore it is an ideal starting point for hiking and cycling. The immediate neighborhood is dominated by agriculture. The neighbor keeps horses in a paddock.
The area offers many possibilities for excursions. Attractions in the surrounding area are provided on the website of the community Ludweis-Aigen.
The website of the neighboring municipality of Raabs an der Thaya provides tips for your leisure activities and events in the area. Even day trips to Czech Republic are possible.

Shopping
A small grocery shop can be found in Aigen bei Raabs (2 km from Diemschlag), supermarkets, bakers, butchers, and other shops can be found in Groß Siegharts (7 km from Diemschlag) or in Raabs an der Thaya (8 km from Diemschlag).

Unfortunately there is no public transport available.

Do you want to escape from everyday life and enjoy the rural tranquility of the Waldviertel (area of forests)? Then our old farmhouse with two apartments, a private courtyard and a large garden is the right place for you! There is plenty of space for children to play. Do not expect luxury but basic life and a lot of nature!

Andreas ist ein toller Gastgeber! Alles hat super und unkompliziert funktioniert. Man fühlt sich sofort wohl. Angefangen mit dem herzlichen Willkommenheissen über die Hilfsbereitschaft während des Aufenthalts bis hin zur Abreise kann man es sich als Gast nicht besser und angenehmer vorstellen. Das Haus ist sehr schön und sauber. Alles in allem eine Unterkunft die man jedem empfehlen kann und zu der man gerne wieder kommt.

Ubytování bylo úžasné, ještě lepší než bylo popsané na airbnb. Měli jsme k dispozici vše potřebné (včetně ručníků, vybavení v koupelně a v kuchyni, zahradu, sklípek k posezení, mapy okolí). Majitelé nás vřele uvítali, všechno vysvětlili. Měli jsme soukromí a bylo to přesně to, co jsme očekávali, klidná vesnička. Hodně jsme cestovali po okolí pěšky i na kole. Určitě oblast doporučujeme, v každé větší vesnici bylo info centrum se spoustou propagačních materiálů a map.

andreas ist ein toller gastgeber! die ferienwohnung war bestens vorbereitet, gut eingeheizt! und mit einer kleinen führung durchs und ums haus war das ein optimaler start. selbstgebackene kekse (vielen dank an christa!) und ein schnäpschen im weinkeller gabs noch obendrein (die eier im kühlschrank fürs erste frühstück natürlich auch nicht zu vergessen! - vielen dank auch dafür!). das haus liegt inmitten sehr schöner landschaft in ruhigster lage und die fotos des inserats geben die charmante unterkunft sehr gut wieder. wir waren hier mit unseren zwei kids und haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt. wir kommen bestimmt wieder, wenns draussen wärmer ist und die lust auf entdeckungstouren ums haus herum und in die umgebung noch mehr spass macht - und um auf die angebotene fahrt mit dem traktor zurückzukommen ;-) !!!

Die Unterkunft war perfekt, und hat den Bildern entsprochen. Die Lage ist bezaubernd, ja wunderbar. Wir haben den Kurzurlaub sehr genossen.
