#blacklivesmatter!!!!!Located between three great neighborhoods (Mississippi, North Williams, Alberta), and in the heart of urban biking, come and stay at my 1984 Bluebird Bus Conversion, a fully equipped independent living space with a private bath and basic kitchenette.

The space
Lady Bluebird is a 1984 Bluebird Bus that has been converted into an RV, a fully private unit. The bus has 320 square feet of comfy living space, including a sitting area with a sleeper sofa, eating area and kitchenette, a full bathroom and a sleeping area. The bed is queen size. The sleeper sofa will accommodate 2.

In addition to size, this is a bus! As the pictures indicate, the space has a fairly open floor plan! If you are fiercely private, you may find this space a little too cozy.

Additionally, the bus can be hot on hot summer days and chilly when it is cold outside. To combat the elements, there are multiple fans and a portable air conditioning unit in the sleeping area to ensure your comfort when sleeping and relaxing. During the winter, there are three portable heaters and a wall panel to cozy up the space. Additionally, you can enjoy sleeping on a heated mattress pad and under a heated blanket. A great excuse to have an extra long snuggle too. <3

Guest access
In addition to private access to the bus, guest are welcome to enjoy the tranquil outdoor space adjacent to the bus. A natural sitting area with shade or sun, the space is quiet and private. Please respect a 10pm weekday/11pm weekend neighborhood quiet hours out of respect for the neighbors, especially if you are hanging outside. Guest can also access the fire-pit, and bikes and helmets for a small fee to pedal around town.

Other things to note
Our house is home to myself and two wonderful children (ages 14 and 16) a chihuahua mix pup named Skipper, and 2 cats that sometimes wander about outdoors. We have one very precocious kitty named Buttons, all black and willing to be your friend for life. If you are hanging out outside, Buttons will say hello! If you leave the bus door open, Buttons will come in uninvited to say hello! So, if you aren't a cat lover, you might consider keeping the door closed up ;-)

Piedmont is a very quaint residential neighborhood filled with tree-lined streets and old craftsman homes, and located equidistant to many growing hot spots in NE/N Portland (Mississippi, North Williams, Alberta District, Dekum). Several grocery stores and lots of local coffee shops are within walking distance. A lovely community rose garden is at Peninsula Park, just a few short blocks down the street. You can also access to several major bus routes and designated bikeways from this neighborhood. It boasts the best that Portland has to offer (my unbiased opinion ;-))

Hi! I'm a lover of natural and simple living and an appreciator of the urban landscape. I get the best of both worlds in Portland Oregon! I do love to travel but don't get to as much as I'd like. I am mom to two bright, inquisitive and beautiful children whom I am not ashamed to admit my world revolves around. I am fun, adventurous and in severe need of much more time to enjoy even more life!! I am a licensed esthetician which means if you'd like to book a facial or some other indulgent skin/body treatment while on vacation at my place, let me know! I can provide services onsite, too! Feel free to contact me for more information ! (Website hidden by Airbnb) Looking forward to meeting!
