Beautifully renovated home from home, warm and welcoming, we would have no hesitation in recommending Mullion Cottage to others. Everything we needed was available including goodies in the fridge for our first mornings breakfast. Gary our host made sure we were well informed with good instructions for finding the property - Thanks Gary.

This holiday cottage is just perfect, the location, the set up and the hosts. The house has everything you need, it's comfy, modern but still full it original features. Gary meets you on arrival and is so relaxed and easy going you immediately feel at home and comfortable. The village is pretty, I walked beau our dog twice a day every day we were there, past the deer park and around the village. There are loads of places to visit within half and he, we had a whole day at Thorpe Perrow in the sunshine. Definitely recommend and would love to return.

We had the pleasure of staying at Mullions Cottage over the Easter weekend. The cottage is lovely with everything you may need. Gary was a great help before and during our stay. He was quick to respond to any questions and he gave us recommendations on where to eat, which were gorgeous. Nothing was too much trouble. We had a wonderful weekend in this lovely cottage. Thank you.

I am reluctant to tell you how welcoming Gary and Jackie are and how lovely this cottage is because I want to go back and don't want it to get too booked up :-) I cannot recommend this highly enough A beautiful high spec cottage in a lovely location. Every care was taken to make our stay welcome.

Mullion Cottage is an amazing place to stay. Gary is an excellent host who makes you feel most welcome. The cottage is equipped to a high standard and is extremely comfortable. We were greeted by Gary who had left eggs, bacon, beer, wine etc in the fridge and helped us orientate with local shops and the pub. The cottage has everything you could want and you will have no problems settling in. It feels like home in moments. There are three bedrooms (two doubles and one with two bunk beds). The master has an ensuite with shower and the main bathroom has an overhead 'rain' type shower. All fittings ooze quality. The living room has a 3D television and some DVDs to help pass the time. The kitchen includes dishwasher and large oven. I cannot recommend this accommodation enough. We (four friends) stayed for three nights and were totally satisfied with this rental. Thank you to Gary for his care and attention to detail as these are the things that turn a good review into an excellent review!

Fantastic directions, easy to book (with almost immediate confirmation) and a great base for exploring North Yorkshire. The cottage itself has been lovingly restored, the amenities are top-notch and the host, who lives nearby, was immensely helpful and welcoming. A thoroughly enjoyable stay.

Gary moved 'up north' from 'down south' back in 2004. He lives with Jackie and their young lad Archie. Mad keen on all sports, regularly plays squash, perhaps a little too often than his knees would like! An ideal day would be a good hike with the family's three black labs followed by a couple of cold beers. Enjoys cooking especially when there's a good bottle of red on the go.
