The Cow Shed is a new barn conversion, with amazing views across softly rolling Devon hills. With your own 2 acre field, squishy sofas, a rain shower, sun loungers, underfloor heating, BBQ and fire pit this cottage offers a relaxing place to escape.

The space
The Cow Shed is a detached house, set about 2 metres behind our old farmhouse, with its own garden and a 2 acre field which is yours to play with.

Guest access
You will have total private access to the Cow Shed and your garden. The field is yours but you may meet Pete in the field, as he mows the grass, cuts logs or puts away his tractor.

Other things to note
We are based on the edge of a small village in the middle of sunny Devon. It is 5 miles to the nearest town and supermarkets (Okehampton and Waitrose, Co-op and Lidl). There is a friendly village shop and cafe, and a welcoming village pub.

We are set in a small village set in rolling Devon countryside, 10 mins drive to Dartmoor, and 40 mins from the North Coast, and an hour from the South Devon coast. Whether its walking, cycling, gardens, eating, swimming, whatever is your thing, there are loads of great days out. Or you can choose to laze away your time on a sun lounger!

We chose to live in Devon as it offers the best of both worlds - the fantastic rugged scenery of Dartmoor and the beautiful beaches of both the north and south coasts. We are very relaxed in this lovely, quiet environment, surrounded by softly rolling Devon hills and tweeting birds.
