This beautiful 1200 sq. ft. suite’s open floor plan will accommodate your entire family or group in comfort. Two private bedrooms, and a curtained alcove serving as a third "bedroom", provide a total of 3 queen beds, with an additional 2 twin beds (day bed with trundle bed beneath) in the main area. Large kitchen/dining area, washer/dryer, two bathrooms. Vaulted knotty aspen ceiling, rustic posts and beams.

The space
You’ll have private outside stairway access to this 1200 sq ft second floor suite with its panoramic mountain views in three directions. The suite’s open floor plan creates a casual, relaxing atmosphere that will accommodate your entire family or group in comfort—or keep the entire suite for just the two of you! There are two private bedrooms, each with a queen bed, and an curtained alcove off the great room serving as a third "bedroom", also with a queen bed. In the corner of the great room there is a day bed with a trundle bed beneath, providing two twin beds. Please note that there is a surcharge for more than 6 guests, but if some of your party are children under 12 years old, do not count them (they stay free).

Vaulted ceilings, faux antique walls, knotty aspen ceilings, and rustic post and beam accents provide a spacious, homey feeling throughout. You can cook your own meals in the fully furnished kitchen, or eat out at one of several seasonal restaurants a few miles away. You’ll find the two full baths and washer/dryer handy for cleaning up after a long day of outdoor excitement.

When you return to the house to rest from your adventures, curl up on the comfortable couches in the great room to watch a favorite movie on the flat-screen TV and DVD player, or surf the web and send pictures of your unforgettable experiences to your friends and family at home using the high speed wi-fi access.

Where you’ll be

Henrieville, Utah, United States

We built our home here in 2009, and the upstairs addition was completed in the fall of 2014. Our home is located on what used to be the Rose family farm of approximately 70 acres. I grew up here, working the farm as a youngster with my dad and brothers. The farm has long since been divided up among family members, and the old corrals and barn in the hollow next to our home (Sunrise Hollow) had to be torn down, but the area still retains its peaceful atmosphere. Most of our 20 acres lie to the south of the house and consist of wild thickets, brush and trees. The property is bounded 1/2 mile to the south by Henrieville Creek and is bisected near the house by another small creek locals refer to as Henrieville Wash. Kids love to play in the wash, but always come back muddy, so they will need an extra set of "mud" clothes and shoes if you allow them to explore there.

There are restaurants in Tropic (8 miles away) and around Bryce Canyon City (17 miles away). The entrance to Bryce Canyon National Park is 20 miles away.

We are semi-retired and moved here from the city for the peace and quiet of rural life. After living in the city for about 25 years I realized you can take the boy out of the country but you can't take the country out of the boy, so when we became empty nesters we headed for the old home town. We built our home here in 2010, and the upstairs addition was just finished in 2014. Our home is located on what used to be the Rose family farm of approximately 70 acres. Most of our 20 acres lie to the south of the house and consist of wild thickets and brush, and some "glamping" facilities. (Kids love playing in the creek area but always come back covered in mud to some degree, so make sure you have spare clothing for that, if you let them roam.)
