Cosy ground floor en suite room in a converted barn home in a pleasant rural setting. Close to the M56 and convenient for access to Liverpool and Chester. Mark and his daughter were hospitable and friendly hosts.

Lovely old world charm - pretty and homely cottage feel. Unfortunately we didn't get to meet Mark as arrived late & left early but he left us a note, laid out a lovely breakfast and even gave us a call before we arrived to make sure we could find the address. The accommodation is right at the front of the house with en-suite so ideal for not disturbing anyone if its just a bed for the night. Perfect host & home - thank you.

Mark was a great host. Very friendly and welcoming. Cup of good strong tea on arrival and very good briefing on the facilities. Good shower and a comfortable bed. Will definitely be back.

Mark was a great host and made me feel very welcome in his beautiful home. He gave me a wealth of information about the property and the surrounding area like places to eat, walks, etc. Breakfast was laid out in the morning and my room and the house was very clean and tidy. Not to mention he helped me sort out some travel pickles I was in! Went above the hosting call of duty. Would highly recommend this place!

Mark met us like old friends. and settled us in quickly with a cup of tea while he explained the house layout. The bedroom is warm and carpeted with an en-suite shower room. The main living room (a riot of modern technology and memorabilia) is large and comfortable, on the first floor and dominated by a large TV. Mark gave us the run of the house. He is a mine of local information and quickly worked out which type of eatery we prefer and sent us hot foot for food. Breakfast was laid out, waiting for us and was plenty and varied. Really cant fault this stay and would recommend it to anyone travelling in the area.

I am a busy Dad of three girls, work in pharmaceutical marketing, have travelled extensively...but no place like home.
I know my area very well, and having lived in Manchester and Liverpool I know those cities as well, so I will help you if you need any advice....just ask.
