Nice 1-BR apartment centrally located in the Lower Garden District. Walk to the Convention Center, Warehouse Dist., French Quarter, Superdome, cruise ship terminals, Magazine St, & St. Charles Ave. streetcar. Fully updated with all modern amenities.

The space

Renovated apartment in 150 year old house. The apartment has 12' ceilings, ceiling fans, recessed lighting, tankless water heater, central AC/Heat, washer dryer, fully equipped kitchen and a large bathroom with 6ft tub. The neighborhood couldn't be better. It's in the middle of everything, yet still pretty peaceful and quiet.

Please inquire before booking for special events like Mardi Gras, French Quarter Fest, Jazz Fest, other major events and holidays as we sometimes have restrictions on booking that can be changed or lifted depending on the circumstances.

Guest access

Entrance is through a dedicated door on the side of the house. You have to walk down an alley along the side of the house, but it is quieter because it's away from the street. The space is a separate and fully independent apartment.

Interaction with guests

My family and I live on premises and would be happy to answer any questions you might have about the city.

Other things to note

Parking is available on the street. This neighborhood was built during horse and buggy days, so there are no driveways.

Since everything is so close, I wouldn't recommend renting a car. You probably won't use it until you leave.

I came with my girlfriend to visit New Orleans for the weekend, and Jessica's place was all we could have needed. We were genuinely surprised about how well decorated and luxurious the apartment was when we first walked into it, it looked so much nicer than can be shown in the pictures. The place was in a really good position and easy to get to and from the French Quarter as well as the airport. If we are ever back in town we will be booking this place again.

The apartment was lovely. There's lots of room, plenty of wardrobe space and it is nicely decorated. There is a TV box which gives access to Netflix and loads of channels, which was good for us as I came down with a cold so we spent a few hours relaxing. Wifi was quick and always available, supplies in the kitchen were good and Jessica stocked a few items for us for our arrival. One point to note, which isn't a bad point, but is good to know, the shower takes a while to heat up, a good few minutes. So dont panic, if like me, you think there isn't any hot water! The location is great, its a 5 minute walk to St. Charles street, where the street car runs along, and there's a few restaurants around there to. Check out is usually at 11, but as no one was due in for another day, we was allowed to stay a little longer, as our flight was delayed, which was extremely helpful! We couldn't rate this apartment more, and would definitely recommend it.

Response from Jessica:
Thanks for the great review. As a note to others, it's possible the shower fixture was not set correctly. There's only about 30ft of pipe between the tankless water heater and the shower, so it always heats up very quickly. Samantha was a fantastic guest and we hope to one day host her again.

Great place. Well located right next to the French Quarter. In short, a great place from which to experience New Orleans.

What a fantastic place to stay! Great location close to many points of interest, and comfortable, clean and spacious. Hosts were very accommodating of our later arrival time and even left us breakfast. Highly recommended, and can't wait to visit again!

Wonderful, clean, with lots of amenities. The place demonstrates care and attentiveness in the way it is set up. Jessica was accommodating of my early check in and late check out. She was quick to respond and ensured a nice welcome to the place on my first day. As a solo traveler, I felt safe and the lovely apartment with great ac and a big bathtub was just what I needed after a long day of exploring. Located in a quiet neighborhood with a nearby breakfast and coffee shop, this little place is only a quick bike ride or street car ride away from the hustle and bustle of New Orleans. I would definitely stay here again. Jessica definitely invested in this place with nice features throughout. The pictures are more than accurate. I was pleasantly surprised because it surpassed expectations.

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to New Orleans, and Jessica's place was perfect. It's an exceptionally clean, chic, well appointed spot that, for us, is within walking distance of our favorite spots within the Warehouse District. Uber access was easy too for our ventures into Frenchman Street, etc. Really appreciated the coffee provided to start our day--thanks for everything!

Jessica's place was fantastic! It was super clean, modern, comfortable and very centrally located to a lot of places in New Orleans! We loved the historic neighborhood and all the cute little shops and restaurants that are just around the corner. All in all, would definitely stay there again!!

I'm a native of New Orleans. My family and I restored this beautiful old house and we can't wait to share it with people who will appreciate it. We tried our best to make it really comfortable and hope you enjoy it.
