Villa Itabo is an intimate space with a wall of glass with views of our tropical garden. It has a king-sized bed, a nice living/dining area, a kitchenette with a small refrigerator, double hot plate, coffee maker and microwave, and a modern bathroom.

The space

We are a small property of nine apartments nestled in a tropical garden overlooking the Central Valley of Costa Rica. Our property is secure, peaceful and tranquil, with hiking trails and isolated areas to hang out and sunbathe. When you are ready for more action the center of Escazu with restaurants and shopping is 15 minutes away and if you want to go into San Jose it’s only another 15 minutes or so. The best of both worlds! See (EMAIL HIDDEN)

Raymond was very responsive and the place is as shown. Great views of the mountains and city. Peaceful place to relax and recharge.A is car necessary if you wish to be out and about as the nearest supermarket / restaurant is an easy 15 min walk downhill but quite a walk back.

Entrance in car is a bit difficult to get in but overall this is a good study apt.

The view is amazing. Raymond was easy to reach and check in was easy. We came in around 9PM and there was a gaurd waiting to show us to our room. We first stayed in the beautiful Villa Buena Vista which was extremely spacious and had the most beautiful views through all three glass walls surrouding the living area. I will be staing here again. We then stayed for one evening in one of the smaller rooms. Still great views and very clean. Wonderful experience overall!

The room was what was expected, wifi worked very well, and the property is well maintained and quiet. It's a little far from the center of San Jose, so you should look into a rental car or use services of Luis, who is a trusted driver and knows the area. I made the mistake of using a regular taxi and they got lost at night looking for the property. Also, there are seven dogs on the property, but they are well behaved and friendly. My only wish would have been to have cable t.v. However, our stay was very pleasant and the host is very pleasant and polite, and can make good suggestions about where to go. Also, he lives on the property and responded quickly to any concerns. Thank you for making our vacation enjoyable.

Raymond's place is tricky to get to unless you have a gps. You are high up on the mountain, Great views of the city from this quite location. Friendly dogs roam the property.

The room is small, but okay for our quick stopover. Be sure to get written directions as it is not easy to find. The host was attentive and did his best to provide our driver with directions.

I came to Costa Rica seven years ago and fell in love with the place and the people. My partner and I are very relaxed and speak English, Spanish and Portuguese. We love the peace and tranquility of the mountainside and we hope that you will enjoy the beautiful gardens and common areas of our property and the hikes up to Pico Blanco, the mountain that towers over Escazu. We go the extra mile for our guests and we do our best to respect their privacy and to provide whatever they need to make their stay spectacular!
