This bright, airy & tastefully refurbished two-bedroom Victorian conversion is ideal if you’re in between moving & need a place for a week or longer, or visiting family and friends. High ceilings, wooden floors, plants & open-plan kitchen-lounge make this a relaxing haven & great space for home working by the big bay window.

There’s a large shared garden; Brixton market’s amazing foodie restaurants, leafy Brockwell Park & tube w excellent transport connections are just 10 mins walk away.

The space
The airy, bright open-plan kitchen and lounge have been recently renovated to form the heart of my home as cooking and socialising is my greatest passion. The kitchen is fully equipped, as is the lounge, to make your stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible - and feel free to have a play of the piano! The master bedroom is large with high ceilings & overlooks the large back garden, which you are welcome to use. Both bedrooms have very comfortable double beds. The bright, stylish bathroom is recently refurbished with a rain shower. As a Victorian building the high ceilings and large sash windows give a classic feel, along with the modern twists and personal touches.

Where you’ll be

Greater London, England, United Kingdom

Our flat is on a side street of Victorian houses, just off the Brixton Hill road. Leafy Brockwell Park is a short walk away for enjoying walks, runs or summer picnics.

A few steps from the front door you can find: a bright corner cafe with topnotch coffee and cakes, our favourite sourdough pizza restaurant which is delicious (and dangerously cheap for regular takeaways!), a pub, a popular long-standing Brixton Jamaican restaurant. If you need to stock up, a Sainsbury's Local and Tesco are round the corner as are late-night newsagents.

Brixton's shops, bars, pubs and restaurants, and Ritzy cinema are just a 10 minute walk or 5 minute bus from the flat. Brockwell Park is also nearby for a walk with great views of London and enjoying greenery. Herne Hill village is just beyond the park, with cosy pubs, a great butcher's, green grocers, a craft beer shop and a lovely weekend farmer's market.

Brixton is a fantastic neighbourhood & I’d be happy share my tips with an area guide before your visit.
