I have been to Seoul a couple of times, and this time is absolutely fantastic. 1. The place is great! Traditional house, cozy, warm during winter. And if you pay attention to the detail of the house, you will start to enjoy the design and technique. Actually there is a gov fund facility next door, can teach u more about the traditional house, and after that you will start to enjoy Hanok. 2. Convenience. Place is located right between the two palaces, which the tourists should never miss. And it's located right in Bukchon Hanok Village, and is a must visit sightseeing. 3. Offer nice and free breakfast. Actually I didn't know where to get breakfast, thus this is a good choice and you can absolutely make anything you like to eat. 4. Nice host. Communication in English is good, problem solving is efficient, most importantly is the host is warm hearted, gave me a lift to shuttle bus station while I have 5-6 pieces of luggage and 1 8-months baby. Five star recommended if you like all traditional things, cozy stay and convenience of traffic.

Good traditional cultural feel and nice location and a very kind gentleman came to meet us. However, directions to the location were terrible as they seemed to be different from those posted on AirB&B

Rosa is a great host. We really felt very welcome! Explanation of the area was very good and when we needed any assistance it was provided to us.

The hanok is really beautiful and kept in good condition even it has been over 100 years old. The location is convenient which is close to subway and also airport bus. There are quite a few nice cafe around which we have enjoyed our coffee in the morning. Rosa has been very helpful during the stay, esp. when the cab driver has difficulty in reaching the house. And specially allowed us to store our luggages after check out. Overall, it was a very pleasant stay and would recommend everyone to stay with Rosa during your stay in Seoul.

Although Rosa was not there to welcome us when we arrived (she had a business trip), her mother was there to warmly welcome us! She showed us around the house and informed us of where all the necessities are and gave us a tour of the kitchen and other living space as well :) The room was really big and exceeded our expectations! It was really neat and clean and we were surprised that the beds were actually comprised of 2 comfortable mattresses stacked on top of each other! Although the toilet was a bit small (although already known), it is still sufficient for ones needs. Many many towels were also provided, as well as soap, shampoo, toothpaste and even a hair dryer. One thing about the room we stayed in though, there is only one power outlet in the room. And it is located about halfway up the wall beside the door. It is just sufficient for an iPhone charger to reach when the phone is placed on the floor. The power outlet is able to charge 2 phones at a time and I resorted to using the bathroom outlet to charge my portable charger

Rosa is really wonderful! My mom & I stayed 4 nights. On our 1st day, we had 3 huge, heavy luggages & Rosa was so kind to offer to pick us up from Insadong & let us check in earlier too. Rosa helped a lot with our itinerary & gave us info on shops that open during the public holiday (Chuseok). The hanok is really pretty & picturesque & I find myself taking lots of pictures. The house was located in a quiet area & 5-10 mins walk to Anguk station. The hanok is located near the palaces as well & we had free entry since it is Chuseok. Security is great! There is a security lock so you have to press pin numbers to enter the house. There are small cafes near the hanok & I found a good bibimbap shop so you definitely won't go hungry. Throughout the stay Rosa & her mum made yummy western breakfast. We even get to enjoy the special breakfast Rosa made on Chuseok Day. On our last day, our gracious host helped to call a taxi to airport & came to see us off in the early hours. One of my regrets is not taking a picture with Rosa before we left. :( Thanks Rosa for being gracious & making our trip memorable! Hope to see Rosa, her mom & her dog Minji again!! :)
