fantastic! the rusticity of the little house lost in the woods complemented our expectations. we had such a great time hiking, swimming, delving into the comfort of the quaint little place. the kitchen is completely equipped for simple dishes, there is a firepit outside, and a picnic tables to enjoy our meals in the sun. the mattress is comfortable. amélie and her mother francine were always available for any questions we might have had, and responded with enthusiasm always. we can't wait to go back!

Our stay at Amelie's cabin was one of the best. It was secluded and very peaceful. Amelie greeted us when we arrived, gave us some farm fresh eggs and walked us to the cabin. This is a beautifully built and very comfortable cabin in the woods! Outhouse located right outside the cabin. We saw plenty of deer, heard all sorts of wildlife, and the wood stove kept us cozy. We will definitely be back!

The cabin was superb. Loved the leafy walk to the cabin through the woods. The smell of firewood and faint smoke filled the air in the cabin and made it feel rustic and relaxing, much like luxurious camping. Amelie was quick to respond to any of our needs during or prior to our stay, and was very friendly and genuinely interested in providing us the best possible experience during our stay. We picked the absolute best time to travel in this part of Quebec as all the leaves were changed into fiery fall colours. The cabin was situated in the thick of it! Walking the forest surrounding the property was pretty magical too; there are some awesome pockets of unique vegetation around the property with signage explaining the ecology happening before your eyes! For those interested, Sherbrooke is a beautiful small town not too far from the farm, and has wicked biking trails if you have access to a bike! There are apples-galore at the farm, and we purchased some hyper-local eggs for breakfast. We also indulged in some kombucha brewed on site too! We will be back in the future, and I'm telling all my friends about this place!

Amélie greeted us at the farm and provided us with all the information we needed for the farm and cabin areas. She walked us to the cabin and showed us around which was very welcoming. The fresh flowers were a very nice touch. The cabin was located close enough to the farm that we felt the warmth of the community but far enough away that we had peace and privacy. The cabin was cozy and basic with everything we needed for our rustic getaway. We brought our big sleeping bag and a few extra blankets and found we had what we needed to feel cozy. Amélie was kind enough to let us bring our two small dogs so that was amazing. We hope to return again for longer and feel sad to be back in the city after a lovely 4 days away in the forest. Thanks Amélie!

The host is extremely sweet and welcoming! SHe brought us to the cabin by ATV and even let my son sit on her lap! He was thrilled. She even accommodated my last minute health struggles and changes! She rocks!

Amelie's cabin is a great place to relax in the woods. It's a step up from camping with all the equipment provided for cooking as well as a solid structure to sleep in. It's super quiet and we didn't see another person while at the cabin. We had a nice time walking around the farm and making fires in the evening. Amelie was very kind and welcoming and provided us everything we needed for our stay. The surrounding communities are also fun to explore. Thanks Amelie!
