Refurnishing works finished August 2012, the apartment consists of:
One master bedroom/suite with bathroom, closet area and astonishing views over Plaça de Catalunya.
Four double bedrooms with lots of natural light and street views. Two other bathrooms with shower and wc and natural air ventilation.
Brand new and fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, digital microwave and electronic oven, washing machine and tumble dryer.
One dining room suitable to comfortably seat up to 10 people. One spacious living room conveniently equipped with tv, DVD and Hi Fi. Optic fiber 100mb WiFi. Public parking underneath the building.

Interaction with guests

I will meet the guests at the apartment personally to show the apartment and give the keys. I will also make a brief explanation regarding the city and the location, closest avenues, shopping, restaurants.... also will provide a wellcome letter with a list of restaurant recomendations, the wifi password and some other important information.
I can also arrange private transfers from/to the airport for any kind og group.

Other things to note

This is the perfect flat if you are planning a big family stay in Barcelona or if your company is looking to find a place where to accommodate a work team while one of most important international events take place in Barcelona.

1.Damage Deposit
Upon arrival guests will be asked to provide a 400€ damage deposit as guarantee for the apartment and its content for any damages caused. Please note that by accepting our Terms and Conditions you agree that any damages caused by you or your accompanying party will be deducted from your damage deposit, and that you will also be liable for any excess damages. This damage deposit should be paid in cash (if you have rented through AIRBNB you will not be asked for this deposit).
All damage deposits will be refunded in full at check-out, and following an inspection of the apartment for any damages.
2.Arrival and Departure
Preparation for arrival
•Please ensure that you provide us with your correct arrival time so that we can plan your check-in and keep us informed of any changes or delays trough e-mail, telephone call or sms
•We will use your contact number and email in the event that we need to contact you with regards to your arrival time. You can send this information via email, or call.
Arrival day
•You should call us or sms us when you arrive at the airport (or 1 hour prior to arriving to the apartment by car) so we know you are on your way to the apartment where we will receive you and give you the keys, as well as further apartment information.
•The apartment will be available as of 15:00h, however we will always try to accommodate clients arriving early if we possibly can. It is extremely important that we have your correct arrival time and that you sms us when you arrive to the airport. You will have to wait for us and your check-in will be delayed if we do not have this information.
•Please remember that check-in is between 15.00h and 21.00h.
•Address of Rambla One apartment:
oRambla de Catalunya 1, 5th floor 2nd door. (Note that the street name is Rambla de Catalunya ¡¡not Las Ramblas!!)

Your departure from the apartment
•You should leave the apartment before or at 11:00. Leaving after 11:00 without prior authorization will be penalized.
•If you need to leave the apartment at a later time, please ask if this is possible at check-in. We will try to meet your request if we do not have an early arrival the same or following day. If it is possible, you may stay in the apartment until 18:00.
•On the day of your departure you should leave the apartment reasonable clean and tidy with all waste correctly disposed of. Please leave all keys sets on the entrance shelves.
3.Apartment cleaning
•The apartment will have been cleaned prior to guests arrival.
•Before leaving, the client is obliged to leave the apartment in perfect conditions, i.e. all waste should be correctly disposed of and the apartment tidied. If not, there will be an additional 65€ cleaning charge if unusual dirtiness is found.
4.Number and identity of guests
•The client should inform Rambla One of the number of guests in the booking.
•Only those persons indicated in the booking made by the client may enter the apartment, unless an alternative agreement has been reached with Rambla One.
•The number of clients using the apartment should not exceed the number of 10, except for in the case of infants under the age of two.
•Pets are not allowed unless permission has been specifically granted.
•Should the client fail to comply with any of the aforementioned Terms and Conditions, Rambla One reserves the right to ask the client to leave the apartment, and the client will not be entitled to request any form of compensation.
5.Behavior in the apartment and building
•Loud music and parties are strictly prohibited. Guests should be aware that if loud music is played, or a party is held, and the neighbors complain and/or police is called, you will be immediately evicted from the apartment regardless of the time, day or night according to the Local Regulation on Touristic Apartments of Barcelona City.
•Noise regulations and respect for other residents between 22:00 and 10.00. We would appreciate your full cooperation in this matter and we hope you understand that these rules are necessary, as our apartment is located in a residential building with people that have to get up early and go to work. The

rest of our neighbors should therefore be respected, and we will be very strict with this issue.
•The client, on signing the contract at check-in agrees to behave responsibly and correctly on behalf of their accompanying party as well as themselves. If this person or any of the accompanying party behaves in an unsuitable and incorrect manner, Rambla One reserves the right to ask the person and their accompanying party to leave the apartment. Furthermore, from that moment on they will have no right to future claims or any form of compensation. Failing to comply with the rules hereby, will cause the client to lose all payments made including the apartment rental and the damage deposit.
•May we remind you that on booking at Rambla One you automatically accept our Terms and Conditions, which we expect you to comply with. You will also have to sign these Terms and Conditions at check-in on the day of your arrival and give us a photocopy of your Passport/ID.
6.Liability of the renter
•Neither Rambla One nor the owner will be held responsible for any direct or indirect damages caused to the apartment as consequence of use by the client. This includes damages, insurance, and loss due to fire, theft, or misconduct.
During your stay in Rambla One apartment you will be completely responsible for the rented accommodation, interior and all business involved with the apartment at all times and shall completely reimburse any damage to the property involved with the apartment, caused by you or your party. Also you will be responsible for any other occurring costs. The property has the right, at all times, to lay responsibility on the renter/tenant if the damage caused has not been fully repaid or payments adjusted properly. The renter stated in the reservation contract will also pay all extra costs such as bailiffs.
The holiday home house rules will be followed to the letter and are part of the rent contract.
In the event that the client fails to comply with the aforementioned Terms and Conditions, Rambla One reserves the right to ask the client to leave the apartment, and the client will not be entitled to request any form of compensation

This location was great for accommodating our team of 5 attorneys attending a conference and some spouses who tagged along for sight seeing. Close to all major sites and/or public transportation to get to them but we did require a taxi to the convention center. Easy 5 euroride on the Aerobus to and from the airport. Can be a bit loud at night but nothing unexpected for the central location. We thought of it as the Times Square of Barcelona. The place was clean, modernized and looked as in pictures.

Great view over placa de la catalogna, couldn't be better located to go everywhere by foot. Metro and buses are also all meeting there. Plenty of good restaurants around. The owner was very friendly and gave us good tips. Super clean, 4 large double bedroom, all with views. A bit noisy but a pleasure to live in and so central.

Our first trip to Barca and the apartment was fantastic. Clean, spacious, modern and well-appointed. The location is perfect. The views are outstanding, we really felt that we were in the center of everything. There were five of us and the rooms were set up with kings. We had extra room of course but very nice to be able to stretch out and have space. Josep was welcoming, very responsive to any requests or questions we had and was always accommodating. We are particular about cleanliness and could not have been more pleased. At our request (and of course cost – very reasonable) Josep also arranged for an extra day of cleaning service. We thought we would have issues with noise levels but that did not impact us at all. WiFi not great as noted but worked well enough. Could not have had a better family vacation and when we come back to Barca we will definitely look to stay in the apartment again. Thanks Josep

What a great place to stay! Clean, convenient, and spacious. It was our first trip to Barcelona and it was a fabulous experience. Josep was great with communication and flexible. If you have the chance, stay here! Others have complained about lack of wifi in the living room. While true, it worked in the kitchen and bedrooms. And I say 'why are you surfing the web when you're in Barcelona??? Go out and live life!' Thanks Josep!

This apartment in Plaza Catalunya is absolutely stunning and in the perfect location. We were a group of nine and Josep kindly arranged the beds as twin beds so we were each able to have our own bed. The apartment itself is very spacious and is beautifully decorated. The location is unbeatable and the views over Plaza Catalunya are unbeatable. The central location meant that we were able to walk to most places we wanted to visit instead of having to get taxis everywhere. Communication from the owner was good and his Father was there to meet us when we checked in. They are quite strict with regards to noise as there must be no noise after 10pm. However I think this applies to most places in Barcelona and wasn't a problem for us as we went out by this time anyway. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this apartment and would definitely return again. Thanks for a great stay, Victoria

This apartment is perfectly located on Plaza de Catalunya, close to La Rambla and within walking distance of lots of the big sights in Barcelona. The apartment itself is beautiful - very clean, spacious and modern with all the amenities you could possibly need. Josep and his dad are excellent hosts - very communicative and very kindly stocked the apartment with bread and orange juice for us, as well as giving us welcome chocolates and a bottle of cava. They also asked if we would like king-bed or twin-bed set-ups for the bedrooms and made sure these were done exactly how we wanted before we arrived. The only small criticism is that the wifi is not particularly strong so not ideal if you need to work from the apartment. However, everything else is absolutely ideal. I would highly recommend staying in this apartment and will definitely stay there again if I return to Barcelona. Thank you very much Josep!
