Our ocean view one bedroom condo at the Papakea is a comfortable & relaxing place to enjoy your time on Maui. The view from the lanai includes a koi pond, putting green, pool, ocean then across the channel to the beautiful island of Molokai.
The Papakea Front Desk will charge you a $17 per night ($170 max.) facilities fee upon check-in. This is a separate charge you will pay them.
The Papakea Resort is a four story, oceanfront, condominium complex located between Kaanapali and Kapalua. It is situated on 13 Beautiful Tropical Acres with swaying palm trees, freshwater Koi ponds, fragrant tropical flowers and Tiki Torches illuminating the walkways during the evenings. Also located on the grounds are two swimming pools, 2 large Jacuzzis, 10 gas BBQ's, 2 meticulously groomed 12-hole putting greens, 2 shuffleboard courts and 3 lighted tennis courts.
Beginning July 1, 2014 the Papakea Resort will charge a resort fee of $17 per night ($170 maximum) that is not included in the fees listed here. You will pay the front desk the required fee.
While relaxing on chaise lounge chairs, located along the waters edge, enjoy the magnificent views of Molokai and Lanai. Don't forget your camera, you'll see some of Maui's most stunning sunsets with unobstructed panoramic views. During the Winter and Spring months also enjoy oceanfront viewing of the migrating humpback whales. The oceanfront resort has a sandy beach (depending on the season), or you can enjoy the beach right next door.

Papakea HOUSE RULES
The following rules have been adopted to provide the maximum enjoyment for those owning, living or visiting the Papakea. The intent and purpose of these House Rules is to protect all residents and their guests from annoyance and inconvenience caused by improper use of the premises. No smoking except in allowed area that are marked. No smoking inside condo.
All occupants, including owners, must register at the office within 2 hours of arrival and obtain parking permits. Any vehicle not displaying appropriate permit may be towed at owner's expense. Park as to utilize one space only.
All noise from any source shall be controlled so as not to disturb or annoy others at all times. QUIET HOURS 10:00 P.M. until 8:00 A.M. EXTREME QUIET when using all walkways, stairs and lanais.
Pool/Hot Tub hours are 8:00A.M. until 10:00 P.M. All POOL RULES must be observed. Pool gates must be kept closed and locked. NO GLASS items of any kind are permitted inside the pooll BBQ area.
Bicycles, skateboards, scooters, skates of any type or similar equipment, are NOT permitted on walkways, sidewalks, or parking areas.
Hanging of towels, clothes, laundry, rugs or other objects from lanai railings, clotheslines, racks, or hooks is prohibited. No sports equipment, boxes or other belongings are to be stored on lanais.
Sweeping, shaking, or throwing anything from lanais is prohibited.
BBQ's are located in the fenced pool area for your use. NO cooking is permitted on lanais.
NO ANIMALS of any kind whatsoever shall be allowed or kept in any part of the project. DO NOT FEED the birds or any stray animals.
Construction hours 8:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M. (Not allowed on Sundays or holidays, see complete House Rules & contact Res. Manager)
Beach users shall shower to remove sand from their bodies and sports equipment before entering walkways and stairwells. Use carwash area near A-Building for rinsing sports equipment and rinse area near D-building and pool for removing sand from feet.
Pool area use is for registered owners and registered guests. Permission must be obtained when hosting non-registered guests or large groups. (Submit request to Res. Manager) The Resident Manager, employees and/or security personnel are authorized to require any person using the facilities to identify self by name and apartment number or host occupant.
Furnishings and equipment in the common areas shall NOT be removed or relocated.
NO CHIPPING in the garden area or on the putting green. An adult must accompany children under 12 when using the putting green . No climbing trees or running on walkways is permitted.
There shall be NO shooting of FIREWORKS of any type at any time, in, from, or around the buildings, or common areas of Papakea Resort.
We are a very active couple so we do lots of walking, hiking, biking and snorkeling. We love the outdoors and all of natures beauty. You can't beat a beautiful sunset in Maui.
We recently moved our wedding videography business to Maui and we enjoy filming in such a beautiful location.
