Awesome stay! I found the place just as described in the listing. Flora wasn't actually present, but I got a warm welcome and all the assistance I needed from her associates at the guesthouse. As noted in the listing, the place is rather isolated, about 4km from the K'la-Gulu highway on a well-kept murram road. There are clear signposts along the way; you won't get lost. I traveled solo and used only public transportation. I reached Bweyale town by bus, and then it was a 4000-shilling boda ride to Hope North. Although there aren't any regular bodas that pass via Hope North (it's too far off the beaten track), I was greeted on arrival by a guy with a motorcycle who basically offered his services as my private moto-chauffeur at a very reasonable price. I had only breakfasts. The food was fine: chapati, eggs, and tea. Every evening, Rose took the trouble to ask what time I wanted breakfast the following morning. She always brought it when I requested, even at 6:30 on the morning of my departure! The common sitting room and bathroom are not secure, but the individual bedrooms have their own locks and seem reasonably secure. Bring your own flashlight, soap, towel, drinking water, and toilet paper. Bedsheets, blankets, mosquito nets, and a basin for water are provided. Water and electricity are irregular. Keep the basin full, and bring a power pack for your smartphone. Wifi works great when the electricity is on. Cell reception for MTN is good.

Stay went well. Breakfast and dinner came at correct timing. Host was mostly unavailable, but we worked it out. Overall things went well.

People were generally friendly and welcoming. The Bandas are a good size. Power was consistent. Bweyale has a decent supply of necessities. The road to Hope North is difficult for 2 wheel drive during the rainy season, but doable. More could continue to be done to make meal pricing straightforward, to provide stable water supply, and to keep the grounds in better shape. Location still recommended for travelers to the area.
