Sarah and Gretchen are lovely people and went above and beyond to help me out. The house is cozy and inviting, lots of light and plants. I was able to use the kitchen when I needed to. I enjoyed getting to know the Powderhorn Park area...May Day cafe is a must. The neighborhood is nice and quiet and plenty of bus stops around. I highly recommend staying at Sarah & Gretchen's place!!

I truly couldn't have asked for a better experience. Sarah (and Gretchen!) are genuinely good people and fantastic hosts. The apartment is spacious, sunny, and has great character. It is located in the thriving and upbeat Powderhorn neighborhood - I enjoyed being there and visiting nearby coffee shops, restaurants, and going running to nearby parks with Gretchen! One of the best parts of my stay was being fully included in all of the activities going on in the apartment - dinners with friends, movie nights out, game nights, girls' nights, and bookclub meetings - just to name a few! They have an extremely nice group of friends, and I could't have had a better time. I was not just a visitor, but a part of the group. Sarah and Gretchen surpassed any expectations I had, and I'm lucky to have made new friends -who I've kept in touch with, and gone out with even after my stay ended!

I stayed for a month and found Sarah and Gretchen to be wonderful hosts. A nice mix of being friendly and approachable, but also giving you space. I'll have very fond memories of my month in this house. Confession: this did involve some TV show bingeing. So the internet is very fast in the guest's room! This house will probably suit you more if you're after some regular human contact, as all the bedrooms and the kitchen are close together. In saying that, you'll probably find there are patches in the day when you'll have the house to yourself. Powderhorn Park is a beautiful, quiet neighbourhood that is fairly accessible to downtown and Uptown. In general I found that to really get around in the Twin Cities you probably need a car but overall the buses will get you places. Lake Street East is your closest main busy street; it's not as developed/gentrified as Lake Street West. This has its pro's and con's. There is a specialist Mexican store nearby on Lake Street East, with more general supermarkets a little bit further. I really enjoyed eating at La Plobanita on Lake Street East, only about 5 minutes away, and also at Midtown Global Market (about 15-20 minutes away).

Looking for a place to stay in Minneapolis? This is the place you want to book. The room is cozy and clean (with a big bed!) and the hosts, Sarah and Gretchen, helped me with everything I needed. The kitchen is fully equipped and the neighborhood has some nice restaurants as well. The legendary Matt´s Bar is one of them. The location is perfect, close to both Downtown and Uptown. And yes, this is the best Airbnb experience I have ever had. Book it now before somebody else does.

I really enjoyed my time at Sarah's and Gretchen's place and I most definitely would have loved to stay longer. Due to busy schedules we were unable to socialize a lot, but the few conversations we maintained were great. They are wonderful hosts and were always attentive, thoughtful and helpful. The house is as cozy and clean as described, you will definitely feel at home! The neighborhood In which it is located is very safe and quiet as advertised, and is pretty close to the stops of some of the MetroTransit main buses, so it is not hard at all to get anywhere around the city ((URL HIDDEN) does all the work for you if you're planning a trip and it is very accurate). There's a beautiful park with a lake near the house and the surroundings are rich in cultural diversity, which for me is a big plus as it enriches the traveling experience. There are some great places to eat near Sarah's house: I would say that a visit to Mayday Coffee and to Matt's Bar (best Jucy Lucy in town) are mandatory if you arrive there. I would definitely recommend to stay at Sarah's. You won't regret it.

Sarah and Gretchen were lovely hosts. I spoke with them only briefly, but I had the sense they would have helped me with anything I needed.

Sarah provided excellent accommodations for my stay. I'm more of a quiet and reserved person, and she made my stay extremely comfortable. The room was very nice and had everything I wanted; I was especially happy there was a nice fan in the room. My stay lived up to the "comfortable and convenient" tagline for her home. I would definitely stay again and am very satisfied with my experience.

I've lived in MN most of my life but enjoy visiting new places and meeting new people! I've lived in Minneapolis for five years and enjoy sharing this great city with guests. In my spare time I enjoy reading, cooking, creating, traveling drinking coffee and eating ice cream.
