We arrived at the Gabicce / Catollica train station and walked about 15-20 minutes to Carlotta's other property to collect keys. She was very warm and friendly and showed us to the apartment just a block away from where we met. The place was very clean, had a nice view of the street and canal below. If we had questions we would walk over to the other property where she seemed to be available all day. She speaks English quite well. It's a beautiful place to walk around the corner for shops, restaurants and a beach where you rent chairs and umbrellas. Across the walking bridge is Catollica which has more restaurants, shops and activities. There is a shuttle that runs around town and up to Gabicce Monte for a great sunset lookout and dinner. The apartment has bikes to borrow. It made my trip up to the Misano race track a lot easier than multiple buses and shuttles, but on race weekend it's not for the faint of heart with respect to traffic. Carlotta was kind enough to drive us to the train station the day we left. If you are taking local public buses some buses have tickets to purchase on them but usually tickets are bought at the "tabacheria" (smoke and coffee shop) nearby. We went here so I could go to MotoGP and it was great to see a quieter side of Italy other than the busy cities. My partner didn't come to the motorcycle race and she enjoyed exploring the nearby towns and beach.
