The English Bay Hideaway is a two bedroom, two bathroom well appointed, ground floor town home that has its own private secured parking space and a private street entrance off a secluded mini-park on a tree-lined cul-de-sac. It is conveniently located in the prestigious West of Denman area of the West End. The suite is one block from Stanley Park and beautiful English Bay, two blocks from hundreds of restaurants and shops and within walking distance of downtown Vancouver. The Master bedroom has queen sized bed. The smaller second bedroom has a full sized bed. Hypoallergenic bamboo linens are provided for both beds.

The 970 square foot suite is fully equipped with digital cable, PVR, telephone, high speed internet - WiFi, gas fireplace, in suite full sized washer/dryer, linens, and all dishes and appliances. The kitchen comes stocked with basic supplies plus we provide breakfast foods: coffee, tea, juice, eggs, milk, cream, butter, bread and cereal enough to get you started. Several major grocery stores are located nearby.

A short walk out your front door puts you into the world-renowned 1000 hectare Stanley Park where you can stroll along the seaside walkway all the way to trendy Yaletown, BC Place and Rogers Arena or take the water taxi to Granville Island. Transit is easily accessible in the area. The renowned Robson Street shopping area is a five-minute walk away. Enjoy a night on the town at one of Vancouver's affordable and excellent restaurants, or stay home and relax in this cozy, comfortable, quiet suite. The location has a "Walk Score" of 95/100. Building is a completely NON SMOKING building and no smoking within 60 feet of outside of building. Do not do laundry after 8:30pm and before 8:00am. A complete Visitors Manual is available after reservation confirmed plus a hard copy is available in the apartment. There is a mini-park steps from the front door which is a suitable place for a BBQ. If you are travelling with a small dog, we would "consider" renting to you after some discussion and a separate damage deposit.

James was a tremendous host. He easily accommodated a request to view his place and an early check in. He ensured that though traveling, his friend Mary Lou would check us in. She did a great job orienting us and making us feel at home. Fireplace was cozy and proximity to Stanley park made this place a gem. Would definitely return. Thank you James!

Our stay at the English Bay Hideaway @ Stanley Park was excellent. There were no surprises. The location is excellent. Its in a very quiet neighbourhood that is a short walk to Stanley park, the beach and to coffee shops on Denman. The accommodation was well equipped and the beds and furniture were comfortable. The small patio associated with the accommodations was a nice cool place to have a coffee and relax. Would definitely consider using English Bay Hideaway again.

Jim contacted us several days prior to arrival and was available to show us around and explain details of the condo when we arrived. The condo was as described in the listing - clean, comfortable, well equipped kitchen with a lovely little sitting area outside. The neighbourhood couldn't have been better and was just minutes from English Bay and the sea wall, Denman St. and many restaurants and shops. Jim left food for breakfast and coffee which was much appreciated as we were in on a late flight. I will recommend this bnb to others and would definitely book to stay here again should I return to Vancouver.

We appreciated the friendly service Jim provided. The condo was as advertised. Cozy, all the conveniences you could need for a holiday stay and clean and comfortable. We loved the walkable location. Close to shopping, restaurants, the beach and Stanley Park. We were pleased with our stay and would absolutely recommend this listing.

We ran into some heavy traffic at the border and Jim was very accommodating about our late arrival (one hour behind). He greeted us and showed us the place. The best part was he had a list of local restaurants and places of interests that we could look over and review. He even had some starter food for us which we greatly appreciated. The location was excellent and we would definitely go back again.

The location of the house is good, the environment is very beautiful, the house master enthusiasm and thoughtful, the room is very clean, facility is complete, the bed is very comfortable. Very suitable for family vacation.
