The flat is very functional and was great for what we needed (a place to sleep at night). It's located right in the city center to everything was in walking distance. The balcony was a nice addition and communication with Isabelle was quick and efficient. The flat is facing the street and can be noisy at night.
Pros: - excellent location - big, bright windows - clean Cons: - I found the double mattress quite uncomfortable, and the 2 pillows paper thin (in fairness, on my way out the door I saw better pillows available in the front closet!) - The internet does not work. You can log on, but as soon as you open a tab or search it asks you to log in again (obviously you're not in Bordeaux for the web, but if you have to check in with children and require internet it's difficult) - The shower head is handheld-- there's no place on the wall to hang it, so you can only bathe yourself with one hand while you hold with the other :S - We kept the windows closed the entire time but still woke up with mosquito bites **FYI there are stairs to the unit (2nd floor) and stairs to the double bed-- if you're travelling with heavy luggage as part of a big euro trip or if you have any kind of physical impairments, it may not be for you** Final thoughts: I would encourage you to stay here, as the value is still quite good. It's a good option as a "pied-à-terre" or quick weekend trip to Bordeaux, but do not expect luxury. You're there just to sleep and then go explore during the day :) If you want more than that or plan to stay for more than 2 nights, look elsewhere.
