Featherstone Castle or the stunning Lambley Viaduct are just a 30min leisurely walk away.Perhaps rounded off ,with a relaxing drink in the beer garden of the Wallace Arms our dog friendly local. Our guests are free to enjoy there own cottage BBQ or make new friends at our shared onsite facilities inc bbq area with outdoor wood fired pizza & tandoor ovens.
Children are well catered for with our outside play area inc Fort slides .swings & climbing frame ,older kids and young at heart will enjoy outdoor table tennis ,football ,and swingball as well as indoor games with our free wifi.
Our No 1 visitor attraction The World Heritage site of Hadrians Wall together with its dedicated museum of Vindolanda are around 8 miles away whilst local shopping is provided in our local market town of Haltwhistle aprrox 6 miles , which also has a leisure centre complete with outdoor "heated"swimming pool.
