My friend and I had such a special time in the Healing Cabin. Tuyet communicated with us clearly before arriving, and we really liked the space. It has a very calm energy to it, and we enjoyed our say so much we booked an extra night! The cabin is well equipped and loved sitting out on the porch taking it all in. Not far from the national park - highly recommend this space.

The place is a decent size. Has pretty much anything you would need in the kitchen. Has a big fenced yard. There were some cleaning issues due to the previous tenant and lack of attention to details on the part of the third party cleaning service. But the owner was very understanding and responsive and all issues were resolved without further problems.

Great secluded spot, close enough for runs to the city.

Not close to the main entrance of Joshua Tree but very close to the Sky's the Limit observatory. If you are coming for stargazing this is a great place!

Tuyet's place was pretty much exactly what we were looking for. Smallish cabin for the lady friend and I to stay at while we explored Joshua Tree and the surrounding areas. It was about 20 minutes outside 29 palms and the North Entrance to Joshua Tree, far enough away to be pretty secluded in the evening. The weather wasn't amazing, but it's perfect for a bon fire and star gazing. Beds were a bit hard, but not a big deal. The kitchenware was actually pretty decent and plentiful, but you'll need to stock up on any perishable items or things like olive oil, etc if you plan on cooking. There's a fire pit and a small charcoal grill, but probably bring some of your own chairs. I am still confused about the hot spring comments as I didn't see anything on the land that might equate to that, unless the water is sourced from one? Overall the place is pretty much exactly as described and a terrific value. If you're looking for a comfy place to get away to, this is a great spot.

Tuyet's place was very simple. I would not say that chain fence and barbwire is a part of the healing properties of the cabin, but it sure makes an interesting wasteland-like experience. We enjoyed it.
