The place is in a quiet area of Lake Buhi, home to the smallest fish in the Philippines. It is a beautiful lake teeming with fish and birds where eagles are often seen hovering and fishing over the waters. There are two waterfalls that are located in the vicinity of the lake namely Itbog Falls and Baybay Falls where guests can go and take a dip in the cool waters. Aside from these natural wonders Mt. Asog, a dormant volcano, sits just at the back of the resort where one can trek up the volcano.

Mayon from afar.

Guest access

Guests can access the Swimming Pool, Tilapia Fishing Pen and Kayak around the fenced area of the Fishing Pen.

A chapel is also located within the resort.

Interaction with guests

Interaction with guests possible when I'm around in the resort.

Other things to note

Try also the local cacao "tablea" which is soon to be a thriving industry in the local region.

We were able to check in late at night. The staff had waited for us before going home, which was both good and bad. It was good because it showed concern and patience in welcoming and showing us to our rooms (upgraded by the way to the duplex because we were the only guests at that time). It was bad because I wasn't sure who we would have reached out to if something happened in the middle of the night after the staff had gone. The main building looked like a large. three-storey mansion with a majestic gate. Our duplex was right at the back. Further down was a tempting pool which we were not able to use because our schedule didn't allow us. The most pleasant sight was a "floating house" on stilts that extended into the lake. Although the tables and chairs were in dire need of repair and cleaning, we had one table covered with a decent tablecloth to eat our breakfast on. The nicest part of breakfast was having our meal overlooking the tranquil scene of Lake Buhi. Location is the best feature of the place. Several things to improve on include: 1. Promptness of staff to respond to general inquiries 2. Quality of towels - Towels had edges that were torn 3. Airconditioning--the a/c was too cold and the units leaked water onto the floor 4. No TV 5. No telephone to get in touch with the staff in case we needed something 6. No wifi--I detected the wifi on the first night but didn't have the password. It was only on the second day that I was given the password but then my gadget couldn't detect any wifi anymore until we left. 7. No mini-ref/bar - a ref would have made the stay more pleasant. There's no restaurant in the area and we were told that we had to request for food to be cooked if we wanted to eat there--and it would have to be limited to whatever they had in the kitchen because the town was far away. 8. No cleaning service - the trash that we threw in the trash bin inside the room on day 1 was still there on day 3. The beds were not made; on our first night, we removed the bed cover to find strands of hair on the sheets on one bed, and stains on the sheets on the other bed. 9. Toilet - overall lighting is very dim, and the bathroom lacked privacy because of a window that had clear glass and was open. Anyone from the second floor rooms in the next building can see whoever's showering. The toilet window could be tinted to provide better privacy, and closed to keep the insects out and the cold from the a/c in. 10. No blanket - the a/c was really cold and all we had was the thin and cold bedsheet because there was no blanket provided.

Response from Kieran:
Thank you very much for your very keen observation of the resort and how you've experienced your stay with us. Rest assured that this will not be left alone unheeded but we will surely do something about the items that you have mentioned. I again would like to thank you for this write-up.
