My cozy cottage is conveniently located in the Summerville neighborhood and just a short drive away from all that Augusta has to offer. Enjoy wooden floors throughout the home and tall ceilings with crown molding in this historic home with a modern eclectic twist.

The space

Parking: Located on the corner, guests can park their vehicle(s) within a 4 -car driveway. Street parking is also available.
Home: My home is over 100 years old. As such, there are some "quirks" to turning on and off certain lights. Just ask :)

Guest access

Keyless entry! A 4-6 digit code will be provided the evening prior to check-in to gain entry via the front door. The home security code and instructions for arming the system will be provided at this time as well. The front door will be used by all guests to enter and exit the home excluding those guests staying in the Private Entry Suite. Without the need for house keys, it's easy to forget to lock the door. Please use the middle "lock" button to lock the door after you leave. The door to the deck (entering the kitchen) will be used for loading and unloading luggage, groceries, etc... only.
Guests will have access to the washer and dryer located near the breakfast nook, the kitchen, the dining (used by many medical students as a study) and living rooms, as well as the back yard deck.

Interaction with guests

I travel often for work and leisure but am only a text (cell or AirBnB message) or phone call away. Don't hesitate to contact me :)

A beautiful house in a quiet, safe neighborhood in close proximity to the downtown area, Convention Center, Museums and the river. Large spacious bedrooms - 3 with queen beds and one with 2 twin beds. Beautiful hardwood floors throughout, with 3 bathrooms and a large spacious kitchen with coffee maker, toaster, large refrigerator and space for stowing food supplies. Parking area off the street is available around the side of the house (it is on a corner lot) with a back gate entry as well. I loved staying here and would definitely book again if I return to Augusta.

Girah's home is spacious with a gracious quality. The large rooms, tall ceilings and openness are very welcoming and comfortable. The stairs from the upper level split at the landing so you can go either to the front door or the kitchen; nice option! It was a pleasure to swing on the front covered porch which is nice and big, and the adorable back courtyard is an added bonus. The neighborhood is very quaint with many adorable cottages, and so accessible to everything in town.

Girah was an amazing host and her home was perfect for our weekend stay with 2 other couples. We were in town for a wedding and the home provided a great base - it's close to everything! We were so comfortable, we skipped out on reservations to cook and hang out longer on the porch! The home is beautiful and quite comfortable. Not fussy or stuffy. Everything was clean and easy to use. And Girah was available for questions the entire weekend.

We were so excited to be out of Charleston after the terrible storm from Hurricane Joaquin came in from the east. We arrived in Augusta with great texting instructions from Girah and were so grateful for her prompted responses to our questions. Her home is absolutely gorgeous and inviting. The home is in a very quiet, lovely neighborhood with convenient parking along side the house. If we ever get back to Augusta, we will definitely be calling Girah. We appreciated her taking such care of us with all creature comforts available!

My fiancé and me with the kids rented the whole house. Girah's house is a great example of value for money! The house is even bigger than what you can actually see from the pictures (4 bedrooms with 3 bathrooms) A perfect house for families, located in a great area: I would definetly recommend Girah's house!

I've lived all over the country for the past 10 years working as a registered nurse. I love the outdoors and all things to do with adventure especially traveling to and exploring new places.
